I understand the matches aren't real games, but scripted matches to showcase what a deck can do. Usually, it's far better hidden, but on this one, Knightmon had lethal 3 different turns and didn't attack on purpose to let Magnagarurumon look better.

Someone here doesn't understand summoning sickness. DKM X couldn't go for game, it just got played that turn.

@notdwaddler2013 You should pay more attention. Not only did I not mention DKX at all, but they had lethal like on turn 3 or 4 had they attacked one turn prior. The DK played spent multiple turns not attacking on purpose.

Not to mention there were multiple times BT10 DarkKnightmon was deleted and the “All Turns” ability wasn’t procc’d. Specifically it reads: “[All Turns] When this Digimon would be deleted, by returning 1 black level 4 or lower Digimon card from this Digimon's digivolution cards to its owner's hand, you may play 1 [SkullKnightmon]/[DeadlyAxemon] from this Digimon's digivolution cards without paying its memory cost.” Because of Nene’s passive, these SkullKnightmons would have Blocker, meaning there would be bodies to soak up MagnaGarurumon’s attacks. So not only did DarkKnightmon choose not to attack, they also chose not to Block.

Ok, I think I understand WHY the Knightmon deck may have played the way it did. The channel skipped EX4, so neither Paddy or CardProtag has experience with EX4 DarkKnightmon. A year ago, in the BT12 DarknessBagramon video, Paddy was piloting. And two years ago, in the BT10 DarkKnightmon video, Paddy was behind the helm. Paddy has been the player to use DarkKnightmon both times, while CardProtag used XrosHeart against it both times. All this means that CardProtag doesn’t have the experience with DarkKnight, and so couldn’t use the deck to its full potential. It’s either that, or CardProtag willingly chose to play poorly, which just feels wrong.

There were a few instances where the Knightmon deck could have attacked, but chose not to. And BT10 DarkKnightmon’s All Turns effect would have given you a SkullKnightmon from Trash, of which you had several to choose from, but you chose not to use the effect. If a SkullKnightmon HAD been on field, Nene would let them Block. So not only did the DarkKnightmon willingly not attack, they willingly chose not to Block. I recognize these matches are scripted, but choosing to not attack and not Block on a deck that’s main strategy revolves around “face checking”, and blocking with your pieces feels like bad play. And here’s the thing, I think I understand WHY that happened. You skipped EX4, so neither Paddy or CardProtag has experience with EX4 DarkKnightmon. A year ago, when you did your BT12 DarknessBagramon video, Paddy was behind the helm. And two years ago for your BT10 DarkKnightmon video, Paddy was behind the helm. Paddy has been the player to use DarkKnightmon both times, while CardProtag used XrosHeart against it both times. CardProtag doesn’t have the experience with DarkKnight, and so couldn’t use the deck to its full potential. It’s either that, or poor writing.

I was aware of the on deletion skills of dkm bt10 however paddy skillfully bounced them off all the time, so I didn’t have the chance to call a skullknightmon. 🥲Also it’s not wise to rush against hybrid decks. I was focusing on doing a one turn kill to avoid having to deal with the tamers from the security. 😊 However thank you for the advice, glad to hear some feedback from an Darkknightmon tamer🫡

I see you are infected by Bandai's naming curse virus. You often use English Dub names, but not in this duel as usually LordKnightmon is Crusadermon in English markets outside of Southeast Asia. Then there is the fact you called JagerLowermon by his Japanese name KaiserLeomon. I expect that from Paddy who uses Japanese names, but yeah the situation with Bandai all round seems to be worsening sadly. :( At least the cover image on the thumbnail is correct.

@@kyrios0307 WRONG! A FEMALE Digimon can't be a 'Lord'. This is what I meant, Bandai are screwing around with some of the ENGLISH names, using the Japanese ones where they are not supposed to! Like Sue-Chong instead of Suzie from Digimon Tamers and the aforementioned KaiserLeomon instead of JagerLowermon and Lighdramon instead of Raidramon. Bandai have screwed around with a LOT of their names and there's no need to. They are confused and quite clearly don't seem to care much about Digimon as they do with other IP's. :(

Others include Sue-Chong instead of Suzie, Lighdramon instead of Raidramon and the aforementioned KaiserLeomon instead of JagerLowermon. They clearly do NOT care about this card game, otherwise they wouldn't be annoying fans with these changes. It's like they are trying to cater to the 'Omegamon' fans, but still call him 'Omnimon', it makes NO sense whatsoever and is partially the reason why this game seems to be failing now as much as I hate to admit that. :(

Holy moly CProtag, you do not know how long we've been waiting for another Digimon video lol. Glad to see you both. Overflow -8 is nuts, AncientGaruru was nasty with that same leveled deletion. Not to mention the amount of unsuspends the Hybrids were able to pull off, allowing extra attacks. The day has come where LordKnight ACE teams up with the Twilight squad and their DarkKnightmon. Am satisfied to see how LordKnight and DarkKnight work on the Battle Area, with one providing consistent De-Digivolves and playcost-based deletion, while the other plays bodies and forces . Cheers to both decks for being awesome, and to CProtag, Paddy and Natasmi for the video 🎉🎉
