Okay, I think I might have jus found my Emerald Let's Play! Thanks, I was racking my brain trying to think what to do and you've jus answered that for me, I was looking to do more Digimon stuff as well, so win-win! I started on an older version of Nova Red, but I got the Final Version now, so I'm going to jus simply restart (I'd only done a Part 1 anyway, so it doesn't matter, I'd barely left Vermillion City and my Let's Play videos are only about 30-35 minutes long, so...)!

This game looks really fun! I only played Digimon World 1 and 2, and a few GBA titles as well. My knowledge is very limited, but I grew up loving the OG Digimon tamers and monsters. It's cool to see new types as well. Hope you have an awesome time playing the game!

I know these games typically use earlier season digimon, but it would really be cool to have koromon do a split evolution into rather adventure agumon or savour agumon going into shineygreymon and potentially burst mode in the end.

Question: I've tried multiple times to do this rom on my phone and every time i gave the rival the first time, i lose all sound and the game freezes when i try to save. Anyone else have issues with this or suggestion to fix?

I'm trying to play this rom hack but keep running across an issue when I try to check the summary of my digimon it's all blank. Did i miss something or are my settings messed up in some way?

@@markoroncevic303 I heard people are having trouble when they use the virtual boy emulator. I personally am using the mGBA emulator and have had no issues. Except when a character turned into two twins.

Are you going to 100% the dex, or just the ones you really like? Cuz if you're going for the 100%, you left behind Bombmon, Yuramon and Mokumon in route 101 and 103.

given that this game doesn't have a Dexnav and I'm playing blind. I'm pretty sure I'm going to try it out catching whatever I happen to find. I do plan on leveling up lots of the little guys to at least see what rookies I may have missed in case I want them for my team.

That happened already.. pokemon infinite fusion kinda broke rom hacking , it was such an amazing game and idea i wish it was real. Use it as a spin off alt universe pokemon game and just let folk go crazy...package this with a new system and you Will have the highest grossing system ever(in a normal economy) imo

The Digimon Sprites don't have battle frames like Pokemon. Nor do they have extra animations since they are just single sprites. If that does bother you, then this mod is not going to be for you.

Started my own playthough on this myself about three days ago well I got it about a week ago but mine has glitches where it won't allow me to change moves except for the top one. Plus unless I get to the Pokemon Center it won't show me the stat gain/loss but I am enjoying it. Although POkeduel was a bit better without the glitches.

mGBA. Haven't had a single crash. Few graphical glitches that last for like a second, but never a crash.

according to the site people that are using visual boy are struggling. The mod works well on mGBA and i'm using a pc, so i have no clue how it would work on anything other than pc.

So Cooper, you mentioned something very funny around 24 minutes in. You mentioned that it was surprising that an Ice type was tanky dispite their poor resistances. That's actually the main reason Ice types are bad in the main pokemon games. Most Ice types are built to be slow and tanky but their resistances suck. So the Digimon you showed was on brand for Ice types

Yuki sounds correct to me. I don't know this version of Botamon, but I do know that yuki means 'snow' in Japanese. So that makes perfect sense 👍

Every pokedex entry tells you how your Digimon will evolve if they can evolve and 90% of the ones we have seen evolve through level up like normal Pokémon. The rest are stone evolution like Pokémon

what mean by digimon battle style the games are all difernt and the show is a shonen so ofcause thats going be more weird 8n whos stronger But games wise they do have twpses following most basic atructure rock paper scisors plus secondery in some games for elements aswell giving more complexity

You are right. A lot of the games play differently. Some of which are more complicated like Digimon World 3. A lot of them are very basic though. Plus in the non basic ones. Not very effective damage still does 80% instead of 50% making the games much easier. Though in the rock paper scissor games like cyber sleuth you do need to have a variety as not having a type advantage can or being at a disadvantage can hurt you a lot. Pokemon games just always had a really solid battle system and it suits the Digimon well. Though I do like the speed system in Digimon games where sometimes you can attack more than once per turn.
