Thank you for this wonderful creation,it would be more propriate to ask you my below posted question. I just want to ask ,is there something special required to go to the post game?Basically,when I beat the rival I have this final 34.52 scene and the end credits,but then a new game automatically starts. I tried to change it by "save" in the in-game menu but nothing happened. Could this be because I have an older version which possibly ends after the League?

@@dimitrisoikonomou3590 Whoa, that's strange. My guess is it's a problem with your emulator. I recommend VBA for desktop and John GBA Lite for mobile.

​@@TheGuzeinbuick I don't know,I used to receive a message that "the 1-M sub-circuit is not installed".I supposedly solve it by changing the Save type to Flash 128k,the message is not appearing anymore but the problem persists.I dont know if it has something to do with in-game save,which I am not sure if it is accomplished (I don't receive a message that "IZZY saved the game" when I press "SAVE", should I?).The think is ,after the in-game credits,the main menu appears and if I press start,a new game just begins,no "Continue" option.I am using VBA in my desktop.

I sort of love that people to this day accuse Digimon of copying Pokémon, since Mega Evolution in Pokémon was 100% copied from Digimon. I mean, just think about it: a further evolution than what is naturally possible, achieved by a stone and triggered by a strong connection with a human... it couldn't get more blatant if they tried.

The show was great =) A true isekai with a great ending for the first season. Comedy was here and there depending on the dub and battles didn't always make sense, but as you move through the show the story gets more involving

But I think him knowing Garurumon was more the fact that Digimon was one of my favorite shows as a kid and we had the first few episodes on VHS way back when. SkullMammothmon is my partner Digimon! On the 20th anniversary Digimon virtual pet I messed up digivolving a Digimon to fuse with another one and got SkullMammothmon instead, but then he long outlived the other Digimon I was raising at the same time that he would have been fused with, and grew on me, becoming my signature Digimon because of that. When you raise Digimon, it always feels like your favourite ends up picking you! Much love to the Digimon series, it by far deserves more love than it gets, it's very distinct from Pokemon, and a ton of fun to get into- and the anime is a classic, I always preferred it to the Pokemon anime even though I was OBSESSED with Pokemon. The Digimon community is super chill and friendly too. Thanks for bringing us some much appreciated Digimon goodness!

0:20 I really don't understand why everyone always says that Pokemon had the better games. Don't get me wrong, I love the Pokemon games, but there are so many good Digimon games too (especially the old Digimon World games). In my opinion they are even better than the Pokemon games. if I remember right, I think digimon actually came out before pokemon did. They did become rival franchises that I think ultimately pokemon won, but digimon didn't do bad for itself and is still around, though not as popular worldwide or in the west as pokemon

Digimon was designed as a Tamagotchi for boys (and Tama is only a few months younger than Pokemon). However, when Digimon released, Pokemon wasn't yet a massive international craze. In fact, Digimon hit international markets before Pokemon did, which is the origin of this misconception.

Pokemon allwys was the better game, Yu-Gi-Oh allways the better card game and Digimon ALLWAYS the better anime. Loved how dark it was and its basicly Alice in Wonderland as anime. Even got the red queen aka Piedmon in it. It’s always confused me why people train up multiple pokemon for type advantage… I’ve always just spent 10 mins in the first patch of grass getting my starter up to level 10+. Then you just use that one Pokemon for every battle, as long as you fight every trainer and wild encounter it usually stays way over level and can one or two hit KO almost everything. Even if you have a type disadvantage, you just need to make sure you have at least one normal type move - because of how over leveled your pokemon is it doesn’t matter if you get hit with a few super effective attacks. There is no need to switch out. Also, none of this tactical moves nonsense like reduced or increase speed or defense… only learn attack moves and attack every turn, obviously prioritise learning moves with high accuracy (because a missed attack is a wasted move) and any moves which cause you damage (because just why). Curious whether anyone else plays the games like this, as I’ve not seen anyone do this on KZbin.

I was surprised that one of the first Digimon that you can encounter is Curimon, the Baby II of Gammamon, if they also had Proximamon in this game then just giving you Curimon on the first route should be madness. For those who don't know, Gammamon has a Super Ultimate evolution named Proximamon, who is a Jogress of both his own Ultimate Siriusmon & Arcturusmon, the thing is that Arcturusmon's perfect, Regulusmon, is already powerful & dangerous enough to be equal to the Ultimate Megidramon of the Four Holy Dragon Group, and Proximamon is just stated in the Reference Book to be capable to destroy and recreated anything, basically, Arceus at 100% of power.

I try to make it a point to get ahold of them in any game where they're available and have been considering getting into the Digimon card game solely because there is apparently a really good Keramon line deck. you should really try to nuzlock an actual digimon game,to test your abilities to adapt, an rule i would add if it was a hardcore nuzlock was not to use the de-volve function so you are looked in with your team (or just spin a wheel to pick the evolution lol)

When I played cyber sleuth a few years ago, I was thinking about how a nuzlocke of that would work. My main issue with nuzloing a digimon game is time. I don't know them nearly as well, so it would time a lot longer, and tbh I doubt I would make it to the end.

I never really watched the show as a kid. But I played a few of the games. I had Rumble Arena, and Digimon World on PS1. My favorites were Galantmon, terriermon, and stingmon. Honestly, the digimon games are often more diverse than Pokémon games. They were fun and to this day more fun than the one trick pony pokemon games ( which haven't been good since B/W2). My favorite Digimon is Gallantmon, or Dukemon in Japanese but I think Gallantmon is the better name. Funnily this romhack is what I thought Digimon World 3 was going to be as a kid. I was a huge Pokemon fan and was also a growing fan of the Digimon show but the game disappointed me when your starters are your only Digimon for like 75% of the game. It makes me wish Digimon would just blatantly rip the Pokemon formula. Cyber Sleuth was almost there but falls into the same trap as modern Pokemon, I want to play the game not mash through dialog for hours.

My favorite has to be when Growlmon, when he was getting his ass kicked as Guilmon and turns into Growlmon then proceeded to blast Devidramon in the face and turned him into data it was awesome. That said, Gallantmonis a close second and Greymon I love 3rd, in that one old movie were he snaps his eyes open creepy as hell and then shoots a nova flame at some huge bird digimon and cleans it up it was amazing. Pretty sure it’s happened in 2 movies cus I think they remade that movie later on. edit here yea they had redone that movie and they got a similarl scene except Greymon says “I’m Greymon now!” And then his nova flame instead of outright destroying Parrotmon it actually blows off one of its wings entirely, so brutal and awesome. Both just as cool.

I would disagree that pokemon had the better toys, at least in the late 90's early 2000's when I was a kid. We actually had Digimon action figures that would transform from lower to higher evolutions. Pokemon had some small figures but they were solid so you couldn't move them or pose them. The gameboy games and card collecting were what drove pokemon.

love digimon so much. my first fave was (like many other guys) angewomon and ladydevimon (and other pretty digimon like mervamon,lilymon, venusmon lilithmon from xross wars) XD now not counting pretty digimon then it would be digmon tamers: guilmon calumon beelzebumon. or digimon xross wars shoutmon and dorulumon

My favorite digimon is beelzemon, I actually have a figurine of him as well as one of black wargraymon. I've adored digimon since I was 8 and have watched most of the seasons multiple times, most of them in German since that's my native language and rn I'm rewatching them in Japanese on Crunchyroll.

Okay hear me out the Pokemon and digimon shows were the best thing to happen.. However Monster Rancher overall had thee best monster tamer games by far and with monster rancher 4 they made it like a gotcha game but you had to use your random dvds and other random video games in your collection to get your monsters and was such a damn cool idea and made it exciting to see what you would get from like Shrek or Childs play lol.

Digimon beat Pokémon hands down, so much better mostly because they did have to pull bullshit to explain why the characters were always preteens to early teens for most of the franchise and the main characters weren’t complete losers, who don’t really win until the final season, where they are the main character

In all honesty i knew digimon first than pokemon and played all the OG games from all platforms on Emulators back then. The reason i liked them more was the games had this cool af evolution sequence like the show and also better story even back then

I like Digimon better since the Evo its a bit rational and cooler also the card battle is more easier to play since the card explanation is more simple than yu gi-oh. Too bad Palworld doesnt take Digimon Evo monster hunt type.❤

Man monster ranchers needs resurgence. I think it could come back as a great mobile game. Since the games gimmick was putting other discs or cartridges in the system to unlock new monster. You do that with apps installed on your phone.

Digimon is way better than pokemon Kabutarimon was my favorite in the first series although Gomamon was a very close second, Armadillomon in the second, and Guilmon in the third.
