- great story - instead "the chosen children" they use new approach - one of Digimon game that cover most of Digimon - a good introduction to any one who didn't know Digimon Cyber sleuth/hacker memory is the best Digimon that we have for now

Anytime I see the occult club after the Shibuya crossing mission I got excited because I was ready for shit to go down and even by chapter 17 they didnt disapoint by the tone shift that always happened everytime they showed up

Honestly the switch version having the farm continue counting while in suspend/sleep mode is such a boon once you're in the post game completion. Clearing out any unobatined digimon for the digidex and max raising digimon more digimon at a time than only whats in the party at a more reasonable pace over a few days.

One of the things I love about this Game is EDEN. You could say it takes inspiration from 0Z in summer wars. Which was directed by Mamoru Hosoda. Who was the director of Digimon: Our war game. Which both films have similar things. Kinda nice it all comes full circle like that.

This just randomly popped up on my recommended and I can only guess it's because of the fact that I've been watching a whole bunch of digimon stuff....... Yep has to be the reason lol. I finally beat my original copy of cyber sleuth from a couple of years ago and while my issues with the game came from the fact that running back and forth to Mirei just to digivole my digimon was a bit annoying and I wish it took a page from the DS games where you could do that on command and for some reason, my PS4 controllers keep making my character walk when I am trying to make him run, I still genuinely love this game from the fact that I enjoyed the story a whole lot, The main cast I still remember them and it especially helps because I love the character designs since I play devil survivor 1 and 2, with Nokia giving me hardcore Yuzu vibes and Arata gving me Devil survivor 2 MC vibes. In the end still a solid game even after all these years later and yes I agree the way for a digimon story a new one is really really painful but considering that the guy who was originally a part of the projects is gone and we did hear that they have it I think 80% done, It's just waiting for more information and a trailer that's becoming more and more of a problem lol. Still great review!

I feel like the should go back to have the protagonist be its own character. This used to be the standard for Digimon games and seeing after seeing Takuma in Digimon Survive it just made me want that more. I feel like they might have gone with the silent protagonist to make it easier on the writing no matter which gender the player choses, but the first Story game still had it with no problems. There are still a few different lines depending on your choice in Cyber Sleuth too. 6:09 I don't even blame him. Have you seen that one _official_ artwork where she's casually untying Nokia's panties while staring directly at the screen? :v

Honestly, with me now being 16 hours into Hackers Memory at the time of typing this, I definitely agree. While I like keisuke a lot more than ami, I don't think silent protagonists totally work for these games. Also, I actually have seen that artwork, but I legitimately didn't notice she was doing that until you pointed it out, lol!

The Digimon anime been know for their character interactions and development, the games have been doing this pretty well too, so it does feel weird to let the main character out of those.

Cheat to beat the regular eaters easily early on, use Gatomon/BlackGatomon. Lighting paw does a flat 150 damage every time. Super easy way to take out the high defense but low hp eaters. Of course, having both of them is very good for, reasons.

Hagurumon is an easy way into PlatinumSukamon which will massively speed up training so that’s a good reason to pick him if I remember my digivolutions correctly.

Ive got fond memories cyber sleuth and hackers memory beating it 3 in morning. I prefer cyber sleuth hm then next world order as I just can't understand the mechanic Cyber sleuth easy jump into I would really love a new digimon game and with more digimon like it.

Tbh i remember the quest in chapter 8 wehre we helped the occult club with a ritual which ended up stranding us in ghost Tokyo but they eneded it with these weird implication that something happened with their leader yet nonof the main nor sub quest explored it?

My favourite digimon game. My only criticism would be that the environments are a bit boring, and hasnt got much variety. Plus the second episode was a bit boring storywise too and changed too little with the places.

I have the platinum for this game. That said, I think digimon world 1 & 3 were better games. They had a lot more charm. A lot of these new digimon games feel kinda sterile.

I'll have to take your word for it since I've never actually played either of them. Honestly, I've really wanted to, but outside of emulation, i haven't had a good way of doing so. I wish they would give the original world games the monster rancher 1+2 DX treatment and ported them to modern consoles.

The evolution system was fun but the game felt really meh to me. The writing felt dry, the pacing was really hard to get through for me until the last few chapters. I was sorely disappointed in my expectations. This was my first Digimon game and after growing up with the cartoon, I was expecting the digimon to hold more relevance. If you swapped digimon with Persona monsters almost not a darn thing would change in my opinion. The focus is almost entirely on the humans and our world and less on the bonds between humans and Digimon like the show. I greatly appreciated Survive much more because it was more like how the show worked.

i dont really enjoy the game bcoz of the talking too much cant skip it..and not many digimon..all i want is milleniumon..
