Yooo Someone confrim this for ne but the scenes lead me to belive the evolutions are based on both the partner digimon and the tamer Agumon fighting its own using his courage n Protective instinct leads him to tyrannomon, who was one of the more docile, yet better combat species The tamer being scared and man.Being back to the corner.He doubles down and uses his own courageous.Evolve into the brutal Tuskmon to power through the opposition when they're both scared but the use a resolve and comrottery To overcome their feelings , they unlock greymon, who is a mixture of both Instinct and resolve

I know they were trying to keep the typing consistent throughout his lines, but not having MasterTyranomon in there was such a shame.

I never played this game. I wanted to ask how you unlock the Digivolutions? Like are they random when the story calls for the moment to Digivolve or do you get to choose their first one?

For Agumon it depends on how you have Takuma, his human partner, respond to certain questions throughout the story. For the other characters, their first evolution is unlocked as part of the story; later on you have to raise their affinity/friendship to unlock the rest later on.

@@Banjoisawesome Well not that exact section. In part 8 of the game Takuma is given four questions and three of those questions will decide Agumon's final evolution and that specific ending of the game unless you are playing through the truthful route where everyone lives. It's a lot to explain...

Question why is Agumon digivoling straight into Ultimates like Triceramon or Megadramon?

Maybe Agumon's warp digivolving? Maybe the developers didn't want to say a certain evolution is canon versus a player's choice during a battle.

No they are digimon in digimon survive. They use the term evolution frequently throughout the franchise when taking about digivolution quite a bit

In Survive's universe, they haven't become Digimon yet. They're referred to as Kemonogami because in Survive they were seen as spirits and were able to live with humans before technology and electronics developed.

@@chancesmith4614 Probably the people who translate the games from Japanese to English not paying attention. Omnimon was called Omegamon in Next Order and that came out before Hacker's Memory.

Pretty sure it’s called Omegamon in Japanese, so if anything Omegamon is the original name.
