Hey, I was the person who asked about Yuuya vs Cool Boy in the Gaiomon video! Awesome to see that brought up again. Big congrats on 200 subs, and glad to see more greymon theorycrafting!

@@DUDigimonYuuya has felt pretty rough. So much of the greymon toolbox is focused on Tai, that it can be rough to cheat him out, and by that point I usually either have my kill stack and it's just Win More, or I'm losing too much tempo without enough worthwhile gain. BT14 Agu's 2k inheritable or Metalgrey X's 3k buff are normally enough to clear any big number issues, and the Grey X protection is close enough to Yuuya's option protection it feels superfluous. All the X-antibody makes Cool Boy so much more worthwhile, more than I had originally anticipated from the two cost tamer. Yuuya has helped me a lot starting out, but never in any matches I wasn't already going to win. A lot of words to say I agree with your original assertion of Cool Boy over Yuuya lol

@@ghostoogakari2009 That's fair, exactly why I avoided it in Gaiomon but use Yuuya in this deck. Promo BlackWarGreymon is too weeny so you need as many DP boosts as you can. Always good to try these things, especially when it comes to Greymon as we have such a huge pool of tools to choose from.

​@@DUDigimon Here's hoping the next wave of greymon stuff is a bit more tailored to Black Wargrey. I'd love to see the more control oriented Black Wargrey X stand a bit closer to the OTK variants in terms of viability

@@ghostoogakari2009 Yeah, same. We've not had any purely BlackWarGreymon support since BT11 so would love to get more. We haven't had Gaiomon: Itto Mode for example.

I really love your deck profiles and matches. Is there any hope for maybe a beelzemon or xros heart deck or game? i'd like to see your take on these.

Thank you so much! I know a couple of the guys own those decks so we'll see if we can sort that out soon. We have Jank Tank 3 releasing next week but we'll see if we can get at least one of those sorted for the following week 😊

Ooh, gotta be careful with the protoform. If it runs into any card that would try to delete the digimon, it's effect automatically activates.

To be fair, in a sense, I think you are both right. With Yuuya on board, we can ignore option effects however, without him, Proto Form activates at the same time as stuff such as Greymon X. At least from what I've seen. Going to have to look into that further!

Ok you're gonna think I'm insane, but what about Bt2 Greymon for this? Gives jamming if you have reboot. Combine it with Metalgreymon from Bt2 for sec +1, for faster deletion. But how do we get reboot? Well toyagumon gives reboot, or Final Zubagon Punch combined with some Tai Tamer bonuses and a bt12 Agumon, could get to 16k easily enough for reboot (although if you get to 16k, you probably don't need jamming). Not to mention, in BT17 there's an Agumon that gives reboot which is very appropriate. Just food for thought on some meme cards.

See, I don't think you are insane. I've been thinking of doing that as well. Inheritable reboot would definitely be the way to go but you could also use Zubagon, as you've mentioned, or Breath of the Gods. I think you could use more ST15 for the SEC 1+ as that is a more reliable way of getting the extra checks. Definitely been thinking about it to help with consistency!
