I'm trying to take a different approach and start melding the identities of the meta from Japan along with what we're going to see with ours. As of right now, we won't have the BT19 support, but hey - at least we got the X-Antibody stuff :3

Apparently, the red, blue and yellow colorations are based on the chrome digizoid.

I've been a Gallantmon player for a long time, alt art as much as I can. Of course I will be playing this as soon as I can. The only issue is getting the Gallantmon X-Antibody. With the pull rate of secret rares and alt arts from EX sets, it should hopefully be easier to get.

Nabbing the alt arts is my primary reason for buying a case of EX8. I don't care too much about getting the chase, but alts of Gallant and Guil X would be amazing.

Hey digi panda great video I can’t wait to get my new x antibody card s for gallantmon, just wondering as it wasn’t shown in the video what’s your option on the new growlmon x antibody as, I’ve seen some deck list that run the blackgrowlmon and itself as two of each.

It's a viable candidate, and you can definitely do that. The consideration here is that Growlmon X provides that memory gain and the draw 1 trash 1 and the ability to play back a Guilmon from the trash without paying the cost if it's deleted. Which isn't terrible. I kind of like that but I also think you'd be adjusting your tamers more for the end of turn Gallant plays, and other elements like rush Guilmons. With Blackgrowlmon, I see this as a stronger utility to return a card from the trash to your hand. With it's inheritable also doing it when it's deleted. Because neither fulfills the role of being just "Growlmon" in name, this is where they both conflict with the warp play with Takato. But you're right, you could do 4-0, 3-1, or 2-2 of Blackgrowlmon to Growlmon X. I personally like Blackgrowlmon more for that recursion.

@ thanks for the advice, I think I’ll try the 2-2 but I think your probably right with how both don’t fulfil the growlmon name so it does seem better to run the 4 of.

No growlmon x?? I get that it’s probably better once we have a better growlmon (bt19) but the cycle and the inheritable sounds too good to not include I do get that it can’t Evo on blackgrowlmon so that’s a little risky but nothing too bad and yessss I will be building this asap

I think if you do end up using the Growlmon X from BT19, you'd cut into the blackgrowlmons and maybe to a 3-1 or 2-2 ratio. While the draw 1 trash 1 is good cycling, along with potentially free Guilmon play, and the inheritable memory gain, the recursion of the blackgrowlmon is admittedly something I like more mainly because if a piece is hit in security or one of your stacks is deleted, you have ways to pull it back.

overall solid list, but some criticisms, rookie count is too high, 13 rookies by today is really alot, i getitsto have the option of rookie into rookie x more often, but itsreally cluttering deck space, withthat ammount of boosts/trainings 11 or 12 is ok, or removing some amount ofthem to make up for the rookie count that issue then compresses the lvl5 count, with only 6 of them. growlmon X is also notoriously missing, understandable if choosing old xanti instead of protoform, but all of its effects come super in handy almsot every time, so defnetly a consideration

Perfectly valid! I usually lean into a higher rookie count to start the chain. Stack building decks in particular can need that level 3. Of course, you can definitely take one out and just throw in another consistency piece. In regards to Growlmon X, in other lists I saw on digimonmeta.com, it could be a 2-2 split with Blackgrowlmon. Personally, I think the recycling aspect of Blackgrowlmon is more useful. But I would not drop a Growlmon variant here because you need them for Takato's warp effect.

I think you're misusing the word relevant. Cards that affect suspending are still relevant as they are needed in order for the immunity to mean something. I think what you mean is ineffective not irrelevant
