Volcanomon It's based on a member of the Digimon producers and he's the one who likes the possibility of infinite evolution the most. However, I know very well that he's making excuses not to solve a bug.

Red: Grumblemon is honestly a good card for early red deck archetypes like the future Elizamon decks. Then Gigasmon and Takuya/koji tamer is the most free attack ever. Blue: Aquatic decks definitely gotten strong support and looking forward for the future. And AncientMermaimon kinda hade early decode. Green: Waiting for Vegetation to be good again, missed playing the. Black: So you can force attack and warp for free into a lv 6, finally black hybrid can be a deck, just hope it is not a Mother or a ukkomon variant be meta. Purple: Velgrmon definitely like he was Sec card. Like he busted.

I kind of miss vegetation too. Wide board swarm and at the same time but it didn't have the hand recovery like you could have with Cendrillmon decks.

The corrupt spirits of darkness would be a nightmare to play against with a xross heart deck due to the fact that the deck offers the ability to use every colour but I could be wrong

I think it's more so hilarious that if your deck is specifically color based digivolution (like Imperialdramon) you're locked out of digivolving intto your level 4's and 5's. Your 6's and 7's though, it's a little bit more flexible. But locking a deck out of digivolving for a turn is hilarious.

I'm just glad we finally have a new Ranamon. Can't believe over the entire course of the TCG we've only had one very basic one. I like her a lot but she's so under-merchandised, there's basically no products that feature her and she's barely on any vpets as an obtainable Digimon. I think she got one during Frontier's tenure and the Vital Bracelet, which is _dead now anyway._ I know there's thousands of Digimon and not everyone's favorites can get equal attention, but damn it really feels like they deliberately ignore her in favor of other things.

There's a lot of Digimon that fall under these category. As someone who loves Adventure 1, I really would've loved dedicated support to EVERY tamer. But at this point, a majority of Adventure 1 character decks under perform in the face of blast digivolution.

The water hybrid stuff could always find a home in source-play decks somewhere. Especially since they have Aqua in their traits; and we know Deep Savers is coming and will likly have Aqua/Sea Animals too. Lanamon cards are legitimately good support for these decks in a more aggressive take. Steel hybrids already have use in Shoto decks in Japan using the Digipolice tamers. ShadowSeraphi is also very good; and can be played by AncientWisemon. [Black Aces are generally the best tbh] The wood and earth hybrids are definitely worse, but their ancients do have interesting effects. Volcanomon is also huge for a lv5. Like; there is definitely a deck out there that can use AncientTorijamon. Maybe in a Terriermon engine with their large ability to suspend stuff? And of course; 2 cost evos hybrid for game. Also; Zanbamon is packfiller but it's Cannondramon-style packfiller. It's a non-archetypable card which people will cook with.

For sure! I definitely felt wood and earth were the weakest, but in sealed, the top ends for both have not so bad effects. The low body removal is also kind of nice.

Well, the new Steel hybrids are going to make bt12 Sephirothmon much nastier. Duskmon and Velgrmon are going to be a fun duo. For me though, Lanamon’s line was something really fun for Aqua decks. Especially when used in combination with the bt17 Koji.

I'm excited to see what shenanigans I can do with Duskmon and Velgrmon. They have interesting elements and with East's most recent video in regards to a pseudo loop, I'm intrigued.

The Water Hybrids are a bit uneven for me, but I think the Calmaramon has some interesting applications alongside the BT12 Lanamon.

According to the wiki rulings and the digimon card game website, it shows Sea Animal lumped in now with Sea Beast. @.@ traits are always the confusing aspect of this game because it's been changed a few times
