A quick additional tip for anyone who wants to use this trick: When you are done training and you want to fully control what you evolve into with items, pack all the items you need into your bag and only feed them to your Digimon inside any of the dimensional dungeons. Time is frozen there, so you can completely prevent your Digimon from naturally evolving. Feeding evolution items to evolve to the Champion level may cause them to instantly evolve to Ultimate naturally otherwise.

How long do rookies live? And how long do they live if you have upgraded the lifespan once? I have 2 digimons that aren‘t the same age and that‘s pretty annoying. Do you got any tips for me?

I heard that Renamon Rainbow Mushroom Soup increase higher lifespan per day than Seraphimon Rainbow Drink.

Found desyncing lifespans to actually ideal. One partner can be maxed out Mega and the other can be Rookie. With the High Defend perk, I just make the Rookie use buffs and block while my Mega beats up MetalSeadramon in Ice Santuary over and over. Plus with the other battle gain perks, ez +26 stat gains. Very glad they made it so battles over boring minigames is the way to gain stats. Makes learning Techs easier too. Seraphimons cooking makes it so ill have 2 Megas eventually at 99999/9999 everything.

Yea I didn't know I needed lv2 dojo to fix path and upgraded it late for my current game. Will definitely do this on hard mode haha

How do I prevent it from evolving into a rookie in the first place? Sometimes, when I want a specific rookie, it evolves before I get a chance to disable paths and it turns into the wrong one.

I had this happen and it's because you put your new baby Digimon to sleep after it hatched. What you need to do is ignore the sleep alarm and go train your baby at least once in the gym. It will immediately digivolve to in-training(baby II) and then head straight to the dojo so you can block the paths you don't want your Digimon to digivolve to. Once you do that, you can safely put your Digimon to sleep.

So if even one of these conditions isn't met, the digimon won't evolve to it? Or does meeting the condition contribute to 'key points' and you have to meet a certain amount? Are all the stat requirements each considered a key point or do you have to meat all of the stat requirements for a single key point . . .

If you do what the text says, you can't fulfill enough key points to evolve into them.

@@Geta92 So Nanimon has a str, sta, and speed req. That only adds up to 3 and he then needs either disc or care mistakes to hit 4 key points and evolve. So each stat contributes its own key point towards evolution score. Got it ty. A much different system than world 1 for sure.

Digivolution is delayed if you don't meet stats. However there are specific digimon used when lifespan gets low to ensure you can still scale by extending life. The sukunomon line is the one used often. I believe however that doesn't apply to mega only rookie to champion and champion to ultimate. What he did was extend lifespan and block off paths to the easier evolutions and because his lifespan didn't hit the criteria to force digivolution he did not digivolved. He purposely ensured he wouldn't reach the one he kept unlocked and just spammed money to buy life lol

It's very similar to DW1, lot's of unknown variables and very hard if you don't understand most of the mechanics, but it's fun once you get the hang of it.

Battle training. You eventually get tons of money as a byproduct.

Grinding stats you eventually will drown in bits. By the second or third generation of intense stat farming your mons will be steong enough that you won't need to spam thousands of bits worth of items to keep them healthy. Also learning when to block and pop your ult move can save you from a lot of damage and a lot of mp
