I'm very interested in this video because it shows the rear lens assembly, my 70-200 f4 L has some fungus/mould in the rear lenses & I'm told that this a sealed unit & official canon fix is to replace the complete rear lens unit but I see you have actually taken this apart & the individual lenses are separated, it's a different lens but there's enough detail in you video to allow me to go forward...thanks

Thank you so much for this video. I have a Canon EF 300mm 2.8L IS lens that is coming apart. Do you have any instructions how to put it together? It splits apart on the middle. Don't have the money to send it to repair but like DIY, so I will try but I could not find any solution online. Regards Glenn

So crazy that these kinds of units never got a connector where you could just unplug the broken flex and plug in a new one. I think Nikon always did that if you exclude the kit-tier lenses.
