Bought a 02 ZR 800 brand new from Don’s Speed parts back in the day. Swapped out the stock 121 track and put a 2” on (all that was available at the time). You wanna talk about wheelies in the mountains!!!! Ha that was the sled for it! Had to ride the hell out of it, it was a ton of fun 20 years ago! Now the point and shoot is more my liking.

Those wheelies are done with power and studded tracks,those straps if loosened, allow suspension travel to go unchecked,which will interfere with the smooth operation of the sliderail/ skid overall and possibly damage your track, if you want to wheelie get a short track 600-800cc two stroke stud the track with trail studs or something more aggressive and practice with short bursts of throttle shifting ur weight toward the rear and keep your balance so as not to flip back on ur face,have fun and practice makes perfect bro.😉

Thanks Again for your videos! You explain everything in great detail. Would you have a video in regards to Y-pipe leakage from the engine side. I can’t seem to get good seal on it. Any tricks or special tool a guy needs to get a torque on the bottom bolts ?
@endurotruckererniedesjardins4 жыл бұрын
Permatex ULTRA COPPER. clean surfaces with brake clean. Use fresh gaskets and if there's a big 🍩 donut on the y pipe to muffler flange change it if there's any wear or scratches in it. Use the ultra copper if the options run out after fresh gaskets. Or replace the y pipe. I've seen them get bent and they never seal tight after.
@allanderfong9144 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the info Ernie, I’ll give that a go.
@1waukesha4 жыл бұрын
Check the mating surfaces of the head and the Y pipe with a straight edge. If the y pipe is not flat, you can fix it by filing off the high spots or have a machine shop run it thru a milling machine. Cheaper than a new y pipe. Shouldn’t need sealants with flat surfaces and good gaskets. Cheers!
