now that it has song mode, do you use the digitakt to record vocals though? I find it a bit cumbersome as recording samples on digitakt seems like a lot of menus / presses.. so instead I just record vocals with sp-404. and have the digitakt trigger my vocals off the sp-404 via midi.. but I was wondering if anyone records vocals with digitakt. not a lot of vids on it.
@SlowHaste2 жыл бұрын
I’ve personally never recorded Vox on the Digitakt - and I also haven’t really seen any vids on it, now that I think of it!

@@SlowHaste yeah I've noticed lots of producers don't tend to sing/rap it's all just instrumental. problem is songs aren't very memorable without vocals.

hello Good morning, Do you know if it is possible in song or chain mode to use reverb, delay and LFO on all patterns and not pattern by pattern ? Thanks
@SlowHaste Жыл бұрын
Song mode just arranges the patterns, so it doesn’t really have access to control those parameters - you’d have to edit it individually for each pattern

When you use Digitakt and Digitone can you synchronize the songs from the songmode or do you have to send program changes to change the pattern from the master (for instance Digitone) to the slave (Digitakt)?
@SlowHaste2 жыл бұрын
I haven’t yet tried it with more than one device and I’m not sure! There doesn’t appear to be an option for this within song mode, and I have a feeling it would be controlled by program changes.
@tubeMonger2 жыл бұрын
@@SlowHaste I think I will test this - this weekend. The songmode helps a lot even if no program changes are sent to the other device automatically. Sending program changes from MIDI out is a lot simpler than creating a song mode with a midi loop and making sure program changes are updated for both devices.
@tubeMonger2 жыл бұрын
With prog ch send set on device 1 and prog ch receive set on device 2 and the song mode is enabled on device 1 but not on device 2, the same patterns are played on both devices. It looks like the song mode sends program changes. Edit: however if both devices have song mode enabled you can define which pattern to play (the pattern to play comes from the song mode row).
