What condidion may present overstated plus power (+1,75) on auto if patient's Visus is 1,0 for +0,50D (maximum)? Any higher plus lenses worsen and make a discomfort and blurred vision. Patient aproximately 30yo, no health issues. Lots of work in near distance though. Can be something wrong with binocular vision? Accommodation spasm? Great job, thanks for sharing your knowledge 👌🏼

do the eye test when his eyes are more relaxed ,preferably on the morning of the day when he is not working and you will know the actual values, this condition is very common for all those who are doing excess long hours of near work, accommodation issues...do cycloplegic refraction

Thank you for great explanations. I recently got check my eyes with KR 7100 Kerato-Refractrometer. My S.E for Right eye is -2.25 and for Left eye is -1.00. Can you please tell me the correct number of glasses for my R and L eyes. I would appreciate your input on this. Thanks.

Numan is certainly impossible to extract exact prescription with SE..we can only extract SE with complete prescription
