Gary Sinise is so awesome, after his USO show in Kandahar, Afghanistan November 2009, he did not leave until every last warrior waiting in line got to get a picture taken with him. This was after performing all evening, and it was very cold. He would talk to each service member. Just amazing, Lt. Dan you are above the best!

Reading these comments about Gary and his giving back; his love and compassion, using the platform he has been blessed with, reminds me of actors year's ago that were blessings to other; not taker's but giver's. Example Bob Hope, Roy Roger's, Dale Evan's, Audy Murphy, etc.. now we have Gary, very nice indeed.. so there is hope yet for Hollywood. I am one who really honors what Gary does for our troops and USO!!!! On a flight through Dallas , a few years ago I went into the USO (I’m a Navy Wife) for the lounge during my lay over. Well a massive storm rolled in, shut down the airport for 19 & 1/2. hours!!! That just happened to be the day the Gary Sinise Foundation brought food to the USO. The BBQ meal was wonderful and they kept it coming all the time we were there! It was a life saver! All tolled the USO bedded down and fed 81 troops and family members!! Thank you Gary!!! I have supported the foundation ever since!!!
