The manufacturer of the inertial motion capture suit is the Dutch company Xsens. The technology uses gyros to measure rotations of the human body. Accelerometers are used to measure linear displacemens. Rotations and linear displacements are mapped onto that 3D human model. The limitation of it is it suffers from data drifts in the long run due to the parts' physical properties. The manufacturer of the face capture system is the American company Faceware. Human face models in the library are called in real time to match the real person's facial expressions. Both tools are in the genre of VR/simulation/motion capture technology.
