If you are squaring (13-w) wouldn't that then be 13 plus 13 plus 5 plus 7?

The sum of angles ∠R + ∠S + ∠T = 180. If ∠R is 63°, then the sum of ∠S and ∠T is 117°. Therefore, B, C, and D (118, 126, and 180, respectively) are all too big. A is possible if ∠S = 116° and ∠T = 1°. A doesn't HAVE to be 116; it's just the only one of the answer choices that could be the measure of ∠S.

The sum of the angle measures in a triangle is 180. If one of them is 63, that leaves 117 degrees total for the other two angles.
