Thank you so much! I just took the Practice #5 test and noticed the silly mistakes I made that could've gotten me a 700+ in the math section. Can't wait to do and then watch your Practice test #6 video!

2:31:50 why did we take the A and H as 2 and -1 what do these letters usually stand for
@Tutorllini3 ай бұрын
The letters don't stand for anything. Standard form of a quadratic is: y = a x^2 + bx + c Reading the given equation it is clear that a = 2. c = y-intercept = -6 (from the graph) h = -b/(2a) is just an equation you need to know by heart. h = x-coord of the vertex The vertex in the graph (at the bottom) is: (-1 , -8) ... so h = -1 I hope this helps!

2:18:29 Thank you alot for this video, its been helping me extensively with my review! i did have a question here at the timestamp; where did you get those numbers (392, etc)? Did you multiply the numbers in the quadratic?
@Tutorllini3 ай бұрын
Hi! It seems like you don't understand the Discriminant. Please watch my video on it here: kzbin.infoIFRQUaiLuMs?feature=shared in answer choice A: a = 1 | b = 14 | c = -49 so b^2 -- 4ac = (14)^2 -- 4(1)(-49) = 392 You could type into Desmos like this and change the answer choices: www.desmos.com/calculator/3zypjljjay hope this helps!

When I open the test on bluebook, the module 1 is not the same as yours on video. And there is only module 2, it doesn’t have module 2 easier and module 2 harder. Please tell me clearly how to find this test on Bluebook.

I just tested it and when I opened SAT Practice Test 5 in the Bluebook App I did get the question regarding "A veterinarian...". Regarding your second question, it seems you don't understand how the test is structured. I recommend watching this video which explains it in detail: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aJLMh4Jve9R6nZY Best of luck!

how does this compare difficulty wise to the other practice tests
@Tutorllini3 ай бұрын
About the same? I've done thousands of SAT Math problems so I am not the person to ask - perhaps a student who has taken all 6 tests can chime in
@DECRETUM143 ай бұрын
@@Tutorllini ok thx. I heard the math on the last test (March 9th) was much harder than any pf the practice tests. Do you have any ideas on why that was the case and what I can do to prepare for situations like that on test day?
@Tutorllini3 ай бұрын
@@DECRETUM14 You're welcome! I can't answer "why" because I have no idea if that is even true. Unfortunately, the official test questions were not released. Also, tutors are not allowed to take the DSAT. So, I have never seen the questions myself. The reason College Board slightly tweaks the questions over time is to keep the distribution of scores roughly the same (if they make it too predictable everyone would get 1500 and the score would be meaningless). Your question on how to prepare is way too broad for me to answer. But if you are looking for hard MATH questions, I have a playlist where each video comes with a free worksheet of very challenging problems available to download: kzbin.info/aero/PLf3ypEs9Kobgeg-L9V8Z8ZT7gdAYZfJlt I hope this helps!
