Words in Context (Vocab) Questions on the Digital SAT: 3 Step Method with Examples

In this video, I outline a simple but effective strategy for answering Words in Context questions (vocab questions) on the Reading & Writing Section of the Digital SAT. Then, I demonstrate how they can be applied on practice questions of varying difficulty. I also discuss what to do even if you don't know all the words in the answer choices. can u do a vid w harder vocab questions. questions when you don't know the meaning of 2-3 choices. theyre in practice test 4 of bluebook. these were mostly easy

I'll probably make a video like this down the road, but the basic steps should be the same. Read the context and try to determine what kind of meaning should go in the blank. Then, skim the answer choices, starting with the ones you know. Even if you don't know 2-3 of the answer choices, you may still get lucky, and the correct answer will be a word that you know. However, if none of the words that you know make sense, the correct answer must be one of the unknown words, so you'll have to guess. The best thing is to work on improving your vocab.
