I have same speedometer and it needs 2 magnets, with only one it's not even close to accurate. With 2 magnets 180 degrees from each other it is 4 to 5 kmph off from gps. With 1 magnet it's 20 kmph off. 2 sided tape the magnet will fall off after a few rains. I expoxy mine and still lost 1 magnet. I'm now ordered magnets that have c clips on back to hold them in place. I like the cable speed ometer better than magnet and now that I have magnet the same speedometer is available with a cable connecting to hook to your from where speedometer gear with your original cable it just screw in to back of the speedometer and no magnet to mess with
