You just saved me HOURS of work. I have to animate a bat flying for a project. I was planning on dragging every little point of the wings in after effects, individually, to animate from one wing pose to the next. That would have taken forever. Now I can create all of the different poses in illustrator, import them into after effects, and morph them. Thank you!

Very simple and effective. I used your technique and wanna learn the other ones too but didn't have time for this current project. One thing I noticed though is how AE morphs some of these shapes. It mirror flips them. It turns out you have to make it a compound path in Illustrator or go to attributes and reverse direction.
