RGL, I’ve been watching you for 2 years now and I gotta say that I consider you to be one of the most honest reviewers and most genuine card “influencers” on YT. With that said, please don’t lose those traits. Everyone has an opinion and that’s not a bad thing. But to be so toxic in the comments section is just unnecessary. If you like something in particular that may not be popular amongst most collectors, there’s nothing wrong with that. As a fellow collector myself, I agree that if unlicensed cards are done right, I could consider them more valuable to me personally than what they may bring on the secondary market and honestly…those numbers won’t mean a thing to me when they are beautiful eye candy images and part of my PC. Don’t be drawn in by those commentators that seek to be nothing but negative. Their opinions may very well be genuine, but the path they take to make it known is a toxic one you don’t need to travel on. 👍🏻

I'm about midway through my first blaster and I've gotten 4 Strouds in 3 packs, one of which was a sky blue/pink shock parallel. Not terrible at all.

I agree 100%. I also would rather get a legend auto from their hobby than a random lineman or non helmet rookie. My biggest worry is if we are paying $600 for unlicensed basketball and the guys looking like they are playing at the rec center, then how much will they charge once they have the license? Would have been nice to have a refreshing step back in the hobby on prices so maybe younger kids can participate

Good talk. Always keeping it 💯. They did a fantastic job of giving lots of little wins with a high ceiling. I'd be less salty on my personal rip results had I not invested $2k into resale prices. But, like you said, lack of supply and I had a demand. 😂 And 3 hobbies, 6 mega, 8 blasters VS. 2 optic hobby boxes were definitely more appealing. The draw for Topps Motif is this Friday. I stuck out x2 on composite, so 🤞🏻 EQL shows me some luv this time around.

These cards are gorgeous. I caught a Target restock today and bought a couple boxes just because I wanted the cards. Even hit a couple autos. But I just wanted the cards for the art. Got a topps black of Vick that looks unbelievable.

To be fair, even if you hit that Montana /10 patch auto at the Topps pre-sale price, assuming you are getting two other autos which are 'meh' you are still not breaking even on your box at $300 after taxes and shipping. Understand the product needed to be out there to get RC autos of these guys out on the market and there is likely some longer term value for the top stuff, as with any product. It is what it is, just not for everyone at these prices.

I picked up a retail box from walmart for $25 and it's been my favorite budget rip. I should have bought the last few because they were gone when I went back the next day. The 90's kid in me loved pulling Bo Jacksons and Joe Montanas. The entire blaster box made my football binder. Beautiful cards even without the logos.

If unlicensed cards are truly supported in the hobby, then we should be supporting indie printed cards and custom created cards. Topps already has a lion's share of the market. I'm not a fan of spending money on unlicensed cards when the rich keep getting richer.

I love the look of this and think it is very smart of Topps to release these. They are marketed it to get people used to Topps lines of cards. Sure it is not licensed but in a year they will be and I am not a license snob. Also the sale prices are competitive but I am a hobbyist and a long time fan of football first so I am really liking they are mostly HOFs. Tell me I can get an auto of one of my favorite players and I am sold. I just wish I had gotten in on the hobby box on Fanatics/Topps before it was doubled by the middlemen sellers. They had them for sale for quite a while at $250 or $260, cant remember now but I did get some blasters and hangers.

People truly are to worried about market value of everything, the cards themselves look great and it’s a fun product and even as stated in the beginning the ROI is much better than most products on shelves they just don’t want to look

Singles sell for big bucks NOW because for some reason people NEED to get them NOW instead of waiting and getting them for far less when the next product comes out. Unlicensed are custom cards, IMO.

Please Pin This One: RGL this product is the best with one small issue. Team Cards, some had 15 players and some were limited to a single player maybe with a second player as an autograph. If TOPP's actually made base for at least 3 players per team . . . the product would have not been just good, but totally "SENSATIONAL" Okay TOPP's there's your only complaint. The basketball does look absolutely terrible lol. What saves football is that there aren't a ton of logos other then helmets and some helmets don't have logos or only on one side. If I was Topps, I'd use as many color rush unis as possible. They always look sick and very few logos.

The Megas are solid, but the blasters are horrible. As far as the hobby version goes, great release price, but as you said secondary market has increased it. People are probably just upset they didn’t jump on right away and now it costs more 😅
