Anybody who thinks this is too expensive obviously ain't ready for something like this because all I'm thinking about is how much money this printer could make me!

What does the transfer feel like on the garment after it is applied? Is it similar to screen printing in texture? or more like a vinyl?

Hi Krissie.. it kind of feels like itself, and there are a lot of different kinds of vinyl and screen printing.. why don't you visit the site and ask for a sample?

Question, With this printer we can just import the artwork and we are good to go with the print? Do we need to change the settings for each type of the paper. what would be your recommendation settings for printing with 2 step paper?
@ColDesiColman

Hey Em, a good question. All of our Digital HeatFX printers come with Print Optimizer - it's a print prep or "rip" software that allows you to tweak the graphic for the best possible image. You don't have to use it, but it helps. There are different settings for different papers - and that's all covered in the training, which is also included!

@@ColDesiColman Thank you!. I read some reviews that few of them are getting some noise/grains coming out from the prints, even after using the recommended instructions. Can you please advise? I am planning to get one, but the reviews were mixed.

@@emprintstudio3397 Not sure what/where you're getting this feedback.. but there are a lot of different things that go into the quality of an individual shirt or job. 1. The quality of the shirt is a big one that's often ignored. If you get a "hairy" or low quality tee for the design... it will look that way. 2. Paper - there are a bunch of different brands of paper on the market and each one is a little different. So results vary. There could also be some kind of manufacturing issue for the paper. 3. Heat press - for a while even the best quality heat press had pits in the bed that was causing we're results. In short - it's not a complicated process at all, but there are a lot of different things that impact the print. That's why we have the free training course, amazing tech support. etc.

@@ColDesiColman Yeah me too forget, but I am sure I read the issue for 550 printer. The issue is about just print itself when printing on the A paper, where the print is getting noise/grains, not even going onto next step like marrying the B paper or pressing on a t shirt.

can you press white toner on to of htv??
@ColDesiColman
@ColDesiColman 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Tristan! I don't see why you would want to do this? White Toner Transfers stick to anything that Heat Transfer Vinyl will. But if you wanted to do mixed media (for example use glitter htv with white toner transfers) you would want to press on the white toner transfer first, then apply the vinyl.

What type of material would I have to use to print on Shower curtains
@ColDesiColman
@ColDesiColman 4 жыл бұрын
Dee - THAT's something we've never tested - shower curtains are made in a lot of different fabrics and materials and each of them are going to have different reaction to the pressure of a heat press and to the heat itself

Would you prefer this over DTG for cottons
@ColDesiColman
@ColDesiColman 6 жыл бұрын
Good Question Achal! Digital HeatFX is a great swiss army knife - it's strength is that you can use it so many different situations - Poly, light, dark, cottons, wood, etc. DTG printing like with the DTG M2 from ColDesi is the perfect solution for printing on cottons - you'll spend a lot less per print and have a better feel. Here's a great article comparing the details in cost and processes: digitalheatfx.com/white-toner-laser-printers/

question, if you have the same image and are going to make a run of different color shirts, do you have to say remove the white from your image for the light shirts before print or can you just print everything in a batch and press them to any color shirt when your ready? lets say i have a batch of black shirts and white shirts. do i have to make a separate light image and an image with white toner for the black shirts? Thanks for the info! John
@ColDesiColman
@ColDesiColman 6 жыл бұрын
Hey John, nope, you do not have to. Any Digital HeatFX transfer will work with any color. There are some advanced features in the software that let's you knock out specific colors if you WANT to - that would be the only reason to print different transfers for different colored shirts. For example, if you were applying the transfer to a Red shirt and the design had Red IN it, you could tell the printer not to print red and just let the color of the shirt show through. Strictly optional.

Is DigitalHeat FX the same as Digital Fusion?
@ColDesiColman
@ColDesiColman 4 жыл бұрын
Fusion is a heat press that we often sell along with our DigitalHeat FX systems. Those systems usually include a white toner printer, the fusion heat press, software, training and supplies

I love the idea. But at this point in my buisness i can't justify spending more on a printer than i did for all of the equipment that runs my buissness. Than spend even more money per transfer on the materials. If i have it figured out right you looking at 6 grand for the printer it's self. Than your looking at about 3 bucks a foot for materials. By the time you heat press it 4 times your going backwords. I'm not saying it's not a good idea. I love it. But economically your marketing to huge corporations. I just don't see how a single person business like mine could even afford the materials. Much less the printer and exstra time at the price point it is at right now.

Morning Adam - every business is different for sure. And of course it may not be right for you. BUT, our customers are usually NOT doing huge corporation shirts - the margins are too low - they're doing small orders and netting about $10 a shirt. 30 shirts a month makes your lease payment, anything over that is profit. Other customers use Digital HeatFX to to ADD to their business in other ways. You might take a look at some of our success stories at coldesi.com/success-stories/

Thanks for the feedback Traci. Can you clarify a bit for me? There's really no better, cost-effective way to print on poly and cotton, light and dark fabric AND do promotional products. We do have less expensive systems, but none with quite these features. Maybe one of those would fit what you want to do better? Oh.. and there's leasing available just in case payments would work for you.
