Upon watching children invested at the weekly lottery on tv, a tv-maker noticed it was the predictable, repetive mixture of colors, movement and musical rithems were key for holding their attention. So between 1981 and 1991 they made 366 of 5 minutes long episodes, 1 for each day of the year, plus 1 extra for the leap years. As it seems, Digitalism found the child in us. Thank you.

For me this describes an overwhelming rush of euphoria from having great peace in the now, love towards oneself and total comfort in a sudden turn after a long period of sadness and self loathing. A reawakening to the incredible joy and awe of being alive that i felt during my early childhood. I speak from an experience that was when i listened to this on my first proper roll. Beyond words and i'll never forget. A rush of euphoric mystical nostalgia is how i would describe it. Have been sober now for a long time.

Hi! It's from a belgian tv show called Tik Tak. As a belgian who watched Tik Tak, this is pure nostalgia. 😁 I still remember every sound that those things made and I remember the begin tune. i agree, i rarely listen to songs on repeat but this is the third time ive done that with this song. i just keep restarting it for like a half hour. the minor chord changes (or whatever they are musically) and changes in timing kind of threw me off at first but i think are part of what keep me coming back to this. also, i just love the synths and syncopation of the 'chorus'. the sound is right on point. classic digitalism.
