Clearly a great thrust to weight ratio was achived on this model. After the takeoff the flight was so close to scale it would be hard for some people to differentiate. Nice job.

@@jarodmorris4408 I'm no expert, but afaik planes heavier than 25kg have to be registered and you have to get a permit. I think you will need a risk assessment for the plane too. Maybe other stuff like report your flights too, but I'm not sure.

When I was 4 there was a motorized toy motorcycle that we could ride on inside our classroom preschool. The catch was we could only ride it in the morning before class started, and it was first come, first serve. Arrive first or you were a spectator. My parents were always late so I never got a chance. When I was watching this I kept thinking, “imagine if I showed up to preschool in 1983 with this baby! My classmates could watch me take this for a spin above the playground!” Ahh, what could have been. 🙂
