Discovering CR last year was a massive highlight. I'm one vinyl short of the whole discography. After Brian St Pere passed, I was crushed, and after finding this band, it was like a reincarnation of a sound that is so near and dear to me. CR certainly is original and inventive, but there is a sonic and emotional overlap to the music and that of Hum that speaks to me in the deepest way. I feel held listening to it.

These guys and Misery Signals are two of my favorite bands ever, and their bassist also plays a Gibson Ripper. It's such an iconic instrument to me.
