I enjoy the AR-1780. Certainly a great performer and I agree, I prefer the more tactile knobs. Well done on another great video. Cheers from Australia. .... Phil

This looks like a great radio set. My question is this, you will often show two methods of enhancing MW signals. The passive coupling loop made by Tecsun and the C.Crane Twin Coil Ferrite. Which is the better method of teasing out weak signals? Do you have a video that shows this comparison?

I may have one that helps, it is radio specific but gives a general idea what to expect. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gXzGYaGff89_eq8 Also I just got a Select-a-Tenna loop and it is slightly superior to the AN-200.

Do you gotten e-skips yet? I have gotten a ton of e-skips on different frequencies up to the end of the FM band. Including MY LOCAL 91.3 in Dalton, GA can be E-skip.

How would i find ametuer radio with this?

Direct enter the frequency that the amateur band starts at then hit the SSB button. Now slow tune at 1kHz stepping and work your way through that section of the HF band. When you hear something tune till it is the loudest, then use the fine tuning wheel on the side to clarify the transmission. Most transmissions above 10MHz is in Upper Side Band mode, and transmissions below 10MHZ tend to be in Lower Side band mode.

@@cmvb69 I show this on the Satellit which is similar to the Digitech, you just have the fine tuning on a separate wheel on the Digitech which makes it easier :) kzbin.info/www/bejne/g6mTqJmkZtaNhsU
