These delays are great, I have the digitech and bought a boss dd3 cos people said they were better, rubbish, kept the digi and sold the boss, the boss was harsher, more digital sounding on all settings

wow this is so cool ! with well placed very subtle tweaks you get such different sounds! thanks for the pre set ideas! ...i love mine and its always on 5 mode. i keep it as a chorus delay and it just added a little to my tone ( that 80s smiths sound) but now i want to get my old one fixed and have two so i can leave one on normal and one for playing with spacey tones. keep it simple and know your gear ...its better than having expensive gear you barely know how to use...i like cheaper effects. as long as you have a nice amp guitar and cables with clean power...a cheap pedal will sound good with a good player...i love this digi delay even if its not true bypass

Try to get one of those Boss DD pedals to do this. The tape delay time setting is also infinitely variable like an analog Echoplex. Best digital delay.

Delay pedals that don’t self oscillate can still make spaceship noises if you just pluck a note and tweak the knobs right? Like it can still oscillate but not on its own and not permanently

No but I have the Digiverb and I hear no coloration when bypassed.

It's a buffered bypass but it's a pretty good one. Pretty similar to Boss.
