I have a ByronStatics (very, very similar to this, seems functionally identical despite slightly different knobs, probably the same guts), and I actually really like it. The speakers are horrid, of course, but plug in some cans and it sounds fantastic and plays well. A far cry from their reputation as record ruiners.

We just got one but it's missing the power cord. I know the back says 5 volts but I've seen some being sold for the record player that output 9 volts. Can anyone confirm?

Turn it on, then press de button with an M close to the little screen, that same screen will show the words BLUE And there You go, Bluetooth on

false. old school record players always usually had a cover. when you shut the lid it kept the sound in the record player and made it sound a lot better and less airy and shrill

Mine does NOT have a power port ..?? I have USB out, RCA Line out and AUX IN ... No-where to plug in DC power

@@RobbieStrike No its a printer style USB Type B female port and the manual says usb out to laptop for vinyl to mp3 conversion. The AUX in and Headphone out are both 3.5mm ports. But nowhere on this unit is a DC plug for power 🤷🏽‍♂️

you should try replacing the sylus, what kind of record are you using , shellacs wont work with reguler styluses

It doesn't have a battery but it does have a DC power supply so I guess you could plug it into a car plug. But of course the record probably skip a lot if you drove while listening to it

dont buy these suitcase style players. for the same price, you can buy the "pro" with full supporting platter, adjustable speed, tunable settings, weight adjustment of the cartridge, ability to change the cartridge, a pre amp built in, etc, etc. made by the same company, just better in every way.

Those things are HORRIBLE. The tracking force is wayy to high and can't be adjusted.
