I mean these things look incredibly cool, and I want to see more info on all the details (I still might buy one), but what Adult really has time for a Digital Pet? Like I don't know, maybe I can be educated on the more modern ones this might have features of, but those things usually take a lot of time and effort I don't really have these days. However, if it did have a casual experience where we weren't expected to look after it hours a day without it dying, that'd be great (But with the fit watches, we could at least lie to ourselves and say we were playing the games for fitness reasons, lol)

isnt this a pedometer type though? you dont have to take care of it, it's the one you go on "quests" and battle random digimon with while walking/shaking just like the 20th anniversary version. it potentially also saves your progress when you remove the battery too like the last one

I get your point. I'm 33 this year and I work as a lawyer hence time is extremely gold for me with court cases, preparations and due dates. Digimon has always been a part of my life but despite me able to afford every vpets/digivices now, best I can do is to keep them as collectables. Before covid I bought most of the 20th anniversary vpets & pendulums and even joined few digimon events near my local area. It was fun but it sure took most of my time to play. Personally for me its either I go full time(+while working which obviously I can't) or I don't at all.

Yeah I think this one isn’t a feed it and it poops and stuff. It’s an adventure you walk with it. Or really you shake it and those count as steps. You go on adventures battle, level divigivolve. There’s a story. You can take your time with it I think

Why are all Bandai’s colour devices “Bandai premium only” and Japanese? It’s 2024, get them localised for world wide release , can’t be that hard to distribute. Same as their Tamagotchi’s, where is the re-release for the connections? Or even a colour connection with USB charge. Such an unfortunate way to torture their fan base.

@bl8084 the one they made is a csa it's better for role-playing this digivice is like the old and new pixel adventure digivices where you walk with or shack the device to battle but in color with full animation for evolutions the d3 does not have the adventure feature like the original d3 like I said it's more for actual roleplay and cosplay

They said "Sora is for later". To answer your question, it's a way to gauge product-interest before investing in producing stuff people do not want. If the initial wave is a success, starting with the most popular characters, then maybe the less popular will be in demand too. Imagine they produce stock of many varieties and nobody wants them. That would be a huge financial problem

The OG colours were orange and blue. The version 2 was pink and a greenish clearish version. The release is trying to reach the nostalgia of the first release. You can always paint one if you get it. 😊😊

Too risky. If Bandai goes Demon Slayers route on Tamagotchi Nano release where they released every characters themed. There will be unsold stocks Bandai doesn't want that happened. Last time the Digivice ver 15th they also managed to release only 3 colors same to current ones. There will be no more colors unless they get unexpected supports.

The digivice however is a smaller toy harder to make it similar without making it too expensive a fridge is an easy 1k the digivice at best $500~$300 not a great comparison.

Depends what you mean. They did make upgraded digi vices for those seasons. All sold out a long time ago. Actually tamers I think is still on pbandai but they dont have the same features that these do. You can’t do the whole “become the digi destine” and fight battles. Those just have the music and the evolutions
