I was a maintenance gardener here in DFW. I loved it. I helped those that wanted a beautiful garden but weren’t into gardening (can you believe?) it is and was therapeutic for me.

Best episode ever! One of my “gardening rules” is I cant plant anything new until I MAINTAIN what is already there! Thank you both! ❤

I was taught when you prune you should see negative space and you should use the concept that birds should be able to fly through the tree.

Good morning, Janey & Michael ☕️My worst pest so far is the Hybiscus Sawflies 😤😩🤬Those flies decimated my hedge of Summerific Hybiscus. All 7 of the shrubs’ leaves looked like lace. I purchased the Tree & Shrub Drench from Fertilome and I’m I waiting for the Spring to use it when they start to come back and, finger crossed 🤞🏻 it helps! Yes, I will use the drench at dusk 😉. Have a Blessed Day 😊

Great talk and food for thought on garden problem areas.😊 Would Janey and Michael cover soil testing and remediation? I will be soil testing to try to identify/balance issues I have with veggie and fruit trees.

Guilty of planting more than I can take care of.
