बहुत बहुत अच्छी जानकारी दी आप ने पियूष शर्मा जी सादर नमस्ते 🙏🙏 साहिर लुधियानवी जी ने कवाली में अल्फाज़ भाषा अदब लहेजा शब्द को बहुत अच्छी तरह से पिरोया गया निगाहें नज़र नजरिया जा बलाब सिद्दत का अर्थ बताया बरसात कि रात फ़िल्म में सभी कवाली बहुत अच्छी लगती है रोशन जी का संगीत बेमिशल है अब तो ऐसी कवाली बनती नहीं बहुत बहुत धन्यवाद

This qwalli is the ultimate qawali.i started listening this qawali when I was teenager, since then heard it numerous times but still I feel same junun for it.

Though all eight hand-picked Qawallis have become part of the DNA of the lovers of this genre, but the way you took us on a guided tour of each song, the pauses you took to help us see more, have enriched us immensely. Peeyush sharma ji,you have got great knowledge of hindi film music.I am listening Hindi film music since 1961.I enjoyed your this episode very much.Yeh ishk ishk hai- is my favourite qwalli especially Rafi portion.You only talked about Sahir ,not much about Roshan music which is atma of this song.Those days songs were recorded at night. This qwalli took whole night to record.

AR Rahman's Ishq Bina Kya Jeena Yaron (Film: Taal, 1998) is inspired from Na To Karawan Ki Talash. Also Na To Karawan Ki Talash is not an original composition. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's father and uncle sang the original before.

Since discovering your program recently, I watch your recordings one by one and relive my youth. Thank you for this. I am 70, live in New Zealand and just submitted my doctoral thesis where I developed a unique health funding model that can help revolutionise healthcare delivery, especially in developing nations. I ran a famous hospital in Tanzania for 13 years, and hope to get to pilot my discovery there soon. Like you, I am a Geeta Dutt fan, followed by Asha and others. Lata has some gems, but her voice could be too shrill and shatter glass! I am an ardent fan of Dev and Vijay Anand and their team of Burman, Sahir and everyone else. I concur with you that if only Dev had not gone into directing and let Vijay handle that department, the world would have so many more brilliant movies. I also believe that Dev and Vijay (the best film-maker, past, present, and yet to be born) did not get the credit they deserved.
