Dilana - Not An Addict (AWESOME!) @ the Brixton 4-22-11

Here's Dilana singing a cover of the K's Choice song, Not An Addict, with the FABULOUS Eric Grossman on bass, who is actually in K's Choice with Sarah Bettens. This was recorded at the Brixton South Bay in Redondo Beach. Dilana and the band were SMOKING HOT and set the roof on FIRE! Eric Grossman and Dilana had awesome chemistry on stage! Michael Martinsson is on guitar, Erik Eldenius is on drums and Erin Leavey is on backup vocals and percussion.
Dilana is such a gifted artist with the most AMAZING voice. She is one of the only current female rockers that really stand out in today's music. She will blow you away with her awesome gift!

I am such a huge K's Choice fan. Saw them once with Verve Pipe and Tonic in '97 and they blew me away. Dilana here does a stellar job covering this great song! Kudos girl!

I don't even remember the name of the show. Or the name of the lady who hosted it. I don't remenber anybody else on it, (might have been Tonmy Lee), nor do I care who they were. But I will never forget Dilana. She was the star of that show, and I can still hear her singing Zombie. It may as well have been called "The Dilana Show", because it was. And it was really good.

Most similarities to the Original version with Sarah Bettens as vocalist! Dilana pulls this off not just because she has some over ranging semi average sounding vocalizations but merely cause of her looks on stage and raw emotion she feeds into her act here which all in all gives a decent but still mediocre non-dramatic and somewhat challenged owned vocals......would have loved to see her take the song to new levels and heights and still nail it respecting the authentic originality of the covered artists(All Opinionated with some musical knowledge of executing a well constructed cover song and still sounding like the very authentic artist you could be with some original talent and nice different sounding vocals and orchestrations
