@WorldChallenge Serenia is the place in King's Quest 5 where Crispin lives. It's not in Daventry as far as I know.

Did you by chance read any Discworld novels? Like Guards! Guards!? Dragons...aiming for vulnerables...desperate million to one chances that work nine times out of ten...it all seems soooo familiar :-)

You can get an extra point by going back and climbing up the rope, which is how you escape the cave if you kill the dragon. So you can end the game with 159 points.

I'm guessing either the dragon was the sorcerer, or the dragon ate the sorcerer. Besides, shouldn't taking on a dragon be difficult? It's doubtful anyone except the mightiest knight in the kingdom stands a chance. Oh who am I kidding? The dragon could be taken down by the local fire brigade.

Really, Sierra, really? No wonder you didn't know about the bucket of water solution, it's silly. The description mentions the dragon's sharp claws and all, yet without fire they're useless. Okay!

If you're talking about reality, they're both pretty comparably improbable. But why would you do that in this game anyway? The only time these games ever use reality is to kill you, but that's only because Sierra would NEVER limit its options on how to kill you :D.

and the underwater scene in the well was almost totally ripped from SQ 3...you dive underwater, swim along, come up in a cave and find something of value...only this time there is a dragon LOL.
