@hesamhaque4991 • Sur mein gaya hai ? Please be informed that Dilipkumar sahab ( Yusuf Khan sahab) has sung a complex classical song in the film" Musafir". He sang the duet " Lagi nahi chute ram" with Lata Mangeshkar ji. It so happened that Salil Da, the composer, heard Dilip sahab murmuring a song during the making of the film and urged Dilip sahab to sing a song himself in the film. A shy Dilip sahab initially resisted but had to give in to the repeated requests of Salil Da. Dilip sahab can sing very well. His focus was always on acting. He was the one to introduce method acting in films for the first time in the world in 1944-45 . Merlin Brando followed suit in 1948, and so also, other good actors. The world famous director Satyajit Roy ji called Dilip sahab the ultimate method actor. Dilip sahab was offered a key roll in the film " Lawrence Of Arabia " but he politely turned it down as he was committed to the producers of Bombay & Madras ( Mumbai & Chennai ). Dilip sahab stands tall among the actors of all the generations. He is the actors actor, the ultimate, beyond compare.
