I had a bad recording and had shared it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pGqTkmuMYpd0oK8 and had been pestering people for its words as it was not a clear recording and words could not be discerned. This is a lovely recording. Thank you so much for transcribing the words as well. Do we know the author of the ghazal and when this was recorded? These had been elusive as I could not so far unearth a clean recording where the words were discernible This is gold, along with the other ghazal you put out today. High time that all other such gems finally make it to the public domain. We need others to take you as an example in putting these recordings in the public domain along with the transcribed words, and their author, and all the other available meta data where available.

Again the year was 1964 ..we met again after ten years in Delhi where she was teaching .. Thus I was fortunate to have heard her many times almost on daily basis .. Some of the recordings you put on youtube I did not hear them at that time .That shows what a vast reportiere she had ..You will be surprised to know that M.S.Subbulakshmi invited her to stay with her for six months in Madras .I am not making up this fact as I have heard the spool recording of MS.Subbalakshmi
