Dilip Vengsarkar Test and ODI career
Dilip Balwant Vengsarkar (born 6 April 1956) is a former Indian cricketer and a cricket administrator. He was known as one of the foremost exponents of the drive. Along with Sunil Gavaskar and Gundappa Viswanath, he was a key player in the Indian batting line up in the late 70s and early 80s. He went on to play until 1992.

Great batsman. His batting was a visual delight for cricket lovers. He stood 2nd to Sunil Gavaskar in test centuries & total runs scored in test matches when he retired.

Vengsarkar was a delight,who are you.vengsarkar brother or relative to back him.he was a useless cricketer very boring and frustrating.all matches which should be won was lost because of this useless and fit for nothing cricketer.he doesn't deserves to even play for leage matches

Never I liked his style of batting. Ravi Shastri and Vengsarkar were two graceless batsmen.

A waste batsman. Compared to like Mohinder, Vishwanath Ravi shastri Dilip had lot less talent. Scored his first 100 in his 17th test. Always fear of bouncers. His record abroad is pathetic. Gets most of runs against weaker sides. Only four 100s abroad that too against one country England. While other talented batsman struggled to get selected. Vengsarkar always in national team despite his poor form
