honest suggestion= diljit really wanted to open up about what really changed him in 2020 and tried like 5-6 times to take you deeper into that direction but guess you couldn't take the cue or did not want to go there which might be disrespectful for the guest too. Raj buddy !! Diljit belongs to doaba area of Punjab.. Doaba area is a melting pot with people from Amritsar, Himachal,Kashmir, Chandigarh.. Read more about it,pre-partition era,you will get a better idea.. That's the reason diljit is able to convert himself from local to pan-india & pan-world.. Not nullifying Diljit's hard-work & struggle,just answering your query,what worked for Diljit..

6:40 Friendly reminder that Punjabi and Sikh are two different things. Punjabi is an ethnicity that predates Sikhi and Sikhi is a religion. The majority of Punjabi's are Muslim and Hindu hence the basis of partition on those grounds. Then Haryana and Himachal partitioned from Punjab in the 1960s and 1970s wherein many Punjabi Hindus still live. Punjabi's are a majority of Bollywood (Roshan, Kumar, Dhawan, Sharma, Malhotra, Mehra, Khurana, Ahuja, Chawla, Chopra, etc) so I think the title of this part of the video should have been Sikhs in Bollywood as that is what was being discussed. Only my grandfather's generation continue to wear pagg/turban. Otherwise, the youth rarely wear it anymore. Only for weddings really.
