I saw him in Delhi at a hotel eating brunch all by himself in the year 2013. I recognized him but didn’t approach him, he was without his team and security, just didn’t feel right to bother him when he wanted to be alone. I saw him and got excited , I pointed at him and he acknowledged that I have recognized him, his humbleness came through and I just froze and couldn’t approach. Two things I have to applaud Diljit for: He starts the interview by congratulating Anupama on her book. Very few artists take the opportunity to make an interview a conversation, and that's what he did. He highlighted her work, including her opinions, and made this a natural conversation. His appreciation for his manager Sonali. Of course, it shows his humility, but more than that, it shows his love for his team. Rohit Shetty and Hugh Jackman are the other artists that comes to mind who vocally shines a light on their team's outstanding contribution

13:11 He's beautifully touching on the teachings of Krishna ji when he tells Arjuna that everything is a play (leela) and an illusion (maya), but even knowing that you have to play your part (ie. Arjuna having to pick up weapons and fight his family because they were harming others and if they won because of Arjuna being indecisive and not wanting to take part in the play, that was a bigger sin).
