I am big delhi metro fan and these are some facts which i collected form my experience and took some help of google as well, here we go 1) only Pink line interchange with blue line 4 times, but true and falls at both time , ( because if you say blue line then it mean line 3 and 4 both, pink line interchange with blue line at Rajori garden, mayuor vihar pocket 1 , Aanand vihar ISBT/(Railway station also my favorite metro station ), kadkadduma, but when you say with line 3 and 4 , it means pink line interchange only 2 times with each blue line ( 3 and 4 ) 2 ) Pink line highest point is at dhaulan kuan which is 23 meters ( because it has to cross airport express line ( orange line )as well as a flyover ) 3) 2 different names of interchanging stations at pink and orange line, ( generally it is seen that two interchanging stations shear same name, but only interchanging station which has 2 different names are "durgabai deshmukh south campus" At pink line and "dhaulan kuan " At orange line or airport express line, this is because initially orange line was not under DMRC ( or delhi Metro) , it was constructed by Rellience but due to poor management they were unable to manag the line and then transfer it to DMRC ( or delhi metro) , that is the reason we see 2 different names of the same interchanging station / stations 4) Pink line is the longest metro as well as only ring metro in India/ Bharat ( but fact is again right and wrong on the same time because pink line along is 58.9 km long which is approximately 60km (in present) while blue line ( line 3 is 55 km long and line 4 is 8 km long which makes it to be 63km long but it depends on what context you are talking about, if you are talking about color then it should be blue line and if you are talking about line number then it should be pink line that is line 7) ,, 5) Pink line has smallest metro station ashram ( The station is just 151.6 metre against an average of 265 , I am still confused how 6 coaches fits on the platform😂) 6) Pink line majlis park station is so special because of it's engineering marvel, it is hard to explain in words but it is only one special metro station in whole DMRC in which you will see alot of tracks, 3 on platform and many more on the pillars also magenta line will interchange it in near future ) 7) Only kashmiri gate station has 3 metro lines and kashmiri gate is the biggest metro station in DMRC by size also in future lajpat nagar metro stations may have 3 metro lines ( after adding peach line or silver line 2.0 ) , and both the stations are at violent line 8) Only grey line metro is operational in delhi ( otherwise every line crosses delhi and enters in delhi NCR ) as well as grey line is smallest line ( newly opend in 2019 ) and have only 4 stations 😂, 9 ) only 1 station of pink line is located in UP/ delhi NCR and all other stations are in delhi ( at present but maybe in future pink may enter in UP/ delhi NCR but i think chances are very less) 10 ) starting and ending of magenta line both happens on blue line of delhi Metro, for example botanical Garden is origin as well as station on blue line, janakpuri west is ending as well as station at blue line, 11) deepest metro station is hauz khas, 12 ) biggest metro station is kashmiri gate ( already coverd earlier) 13 ) initially raipd metro gurugram and airport express line were private line, developed by private bodies but failed to operate and then acquired by the government of India and added with DMRC 14 ) The violet line ( line 6 ) is also called Heritage line because this line is very rich in culture and heritage as compared to other lines for example ending of the line is at Raja nahar singh ( ballabhagarh) Raja nahar singh was a freedom fighter during first indian revolution in 1857 , He killed many gora sahebs and also didn't let any gora shaeb put their feet in delhi for more than 2 months, you can visit his palac which is very beautiful and yes very close to station, Next is Sant soor das ( Sihi) birth place of great poet/ kavi which is sant soor das ( a great devotee of Lord krishna ) Then you can visit "kalkaji mandir" " Lotus temple " " Iskcon greater kailash " Then you can visit Central Secretariat ( president house / amrit udyan), India gate, Jawaharlal Nehru stadium, Then lal quila, jama masjid , delhi gate etc. Also a lost masjid / mosque was discovered during making of the line near jama masjid , 15 ) Delhi Metro is a green metro, because 60% of it's electricity comes from solar power plant. 16 ) janakpuri west station has tallest escalator in India which is 15.6 meters tall. 17 ) DMRC is a very special type of metro which operates at 25000 volt ( 25KV) otherwise it is very rare in world 18 ) Delhi Metro is the 8th longest metro in the world, and achieved this position in only 20 years about length of 390 KM, and soon Phase 4 will be completed and after that delhi Metro may come in top 5-6 alone 19 ) why did I said alone because now at present if we add all metro lines in India then our metro system is already on top 5 ( I think at number 4 not confirmed that much ) 20 ) there are total 11 lines in delhi metro ( if you count line 3 and 4 Two corrections:- 1. Bombardier is French, not German. Bombardier coaches work on two lines only. The bulk of DMRC coaches are from Hyundai Rotem and are made in collaboration with BEML. 2. Pink line is yet to form a full circle. It will complete after phase IV. 3. The deepest and highest points on the DMRC network are interchanges, they had to be taken that high or low to avoid pre-existing lines.

You will be surprised to know Delhi metro is much better and more advanced than London and Paris metro and even any metro from Europe. I have personally visited London and Paris metro.

शंघाई मेट्रो का नेटवर्क अभी दुनिया में सबसे बड़ा है। उसका दायरा 424 किलोमीटर का है। दिल्ली मेट्रो प्रबंधन को उम्मीद है कि थर्ड फेज के कॉरिडोर में विस्तार की योजना को मंजूरी मिलने के बाद मेट्रो का कुल नेटवर्क 340 किलोमीटर का हो जाएगा। अभी मेट्रो का 190 किलोमीटर का नेटवर्क है।
