As Samuel talks about at 5:08 with the simplicity of the sound engine, it's shocking how much a difference it makes when you use a mod like Sound Physics Remastered that adds complex attenuation and sound reflections. Honestly, I feel like the toggling of that mod has more of an effect on the feel of the game than even shaders.

I love that they use real animal sounds too! They sound so cute. I have seen videos about movie sounds and they usually try to make every sound themselves, which is unnecessarily complicated. I remember one clip where they tried to make "dog walking on the floor" sound... and they glued something hard in glove fingertips and made the sound with them.

This is soo amazing. They do a fantastic job. I hope they get to see more birds to get their sounds added. The overworld in general just needs more ambient sounds like hearing the wind or hearing the rain or a blizzard

As a sound design student and a self taught music producer, and a huge minecraft fan this is incredibly inspiring!!!!!! I wish more studios would show the sound effects side of production in game development

The coolest thing about this video is the inspirational impact it’s gonna have on some of the kids watching it. I just have a feeling that this will be the creative spark that leads to their future careers in audio design/editing and it all started here. Super cool 👏

A few years ago I watched one of their earlier videos on sound design, and it inspired me to actually study in that general direction. I recently did my first sounds for a friends game. These guys were the inspiration for that basically. :)

i think minecraft could benefit a lot from bringing in metal vocalists to make the sounds for creatures like piglins. at 2:03 what he's doing is inhaling, this is a technique used by some metal vocalists. it can be quite harmful to the person performing it if done with improper technique but some metal vocalists have perfected it and i think thats something minecraft should look into
