I know this isn't related to the context of the video, but if Haye beat a another fighter who he was losing against because the guy suffered an injury, and that was the main reason he won, Bellew would've been the first to bring that up to use against him

You need to remember that for 5 and a half rounds he wasnt injured and he was never going to take Bellew out. I hear the reason Haye wont fight for the wbc or the wba is because he wont sign up for vada drug testing and they was no drug testing for this fight so Haye is finished move on.

As much as you can tell Whyte is trying to create beef to make a fight happen, but he's telling honest truths about what happened in Haye v Bellew. Haye did look off, but Bellew was never really in the fight, and struggled against a legless Haye, and even his clean shots did no damage to Haye. When Haye went out the ring, he immediately got back in and tried to swing but his corner knew it was pointless him fighting anymore.

Whyte needs to keep training , keep active, keep learning. David Haye is a prime example of a boxer who had all the potential tools but lack of activity, lack of training between fights and wild lifestyle caught up with him. Money is there for a short while and you have to stay focused. Lack of focus will cost you your legacy. Haye in my eyes never fulfilled his full potential.

whats in it for bellew to fight Whyte though lol, no title on the line and a massively dangerous fight for Tony, the only reason Bellew should even consider sticking around at heavy weight is either for a Haye rematch, or a title shot

Agreed, I would advise he stays away from Wilder tho because he will seriously get hurt. Bellew hasn't got enough power to KO a proper heavy weight. Wilder would really hurt Bellew regardless of his flaws.
@matthewturner8063
@matthewturner8063 7 жыл бұрын
+ kiely 456 Although I agree with you Bellew shouldn't be getting in the ring with Whyte he shouldn't be any where near a world title shot either. I agree with Dillan if he wants a world title fight he should have to go through him first. Beating an seriously injured opponent and getting a title fight is just wrong on every level.
@kiely4561
@kiely4561 7 жыл бұрын
you're right he has no business getting a title shot, but he will none the less, beating Haye has just made him a hot commodity, and Wilder will have no problem agreeing to the fight because he'll look at it as an easy way to make money in a high profile fight

This guy talks the most sense out of every boxer in the heavyweight division. Spot on about everything and isn't scared give honest opinions about Hearn's fighters. Unlike everyone else who is under Hearn's thumb. Bellew needs to retire or rematch Haye as any top heavyweight beats him. Even an aging Haye beats him in a rematch if injury free but against the bigger taller Heavyweights Bellew literally has no chance so Hearn needs to wake up before he get's Bellew serious hurt.
