Wow...sir, really impressed by the way u explained philosphy of gandhi in such depth. Really enlightened after watching this. Why there is so less teachers like u in india.

Many people in India abuse Gandhi because they don't get good history teachers in schools, and afterwards they don't really read about him

This was an exceptionally profound lecture. Your thought, erudition and presentation is sublime. Thank you Professor for making supremely high quality Knowledge (with a capital K) accessibly available. I hope it is through thought like this that the forthcoming generations grow up.

Thanks for your kind remarks. The course on Gandhi offers, I think, a reading of Gandhi which is not commonly encountered but it does not seem to have had as much traction as some of the other courses.

To obey conscience over man-made law, the individual conscience must be connected to the divine, from whence a higher law comes.

Very enlightening session but i was wondering " if you say that it is your duty to condone a law if u feel its unjust , wont it create a mess isnt one person's right other person,s wrong , For ex: mariyah custom of khond tribe in india where human sacrifice was sacred , they fought againist the british to safegaurd thier tradition . And who decides what is injust and what is not. Ex: citizenship amendment act of india . Its biased but a boon to some . If you could please ease my dilemma on this . Thank you .
