The documentary really does capture the feeling and romanticism of a gangster film! But it also captures the shenanigans, less-than-rosy details, and historical background.

I can't believe how good this was--honestly during the breakout there was so much tension my stomach did flips as the story advanced! You are obviously very talented in storytelling and composition (as if we didn't already know this!) keep up the great work! It's even more impressive now that we know Yvette's exact age is between 16 - 104 ;)

I forgot to mention that in Episode 2 is one of the very few documentaries that mention Kokomo, In, and Pearl Elliott's involvement with John. It includes a good description of the 'arranged robberies' that were common during this time.

@DefraggedHistory10 ай бұрын
The full details of what happened are too graphic for the Tube, so I didn't say too much, but the shot was more of an accident, the beating was very intentional, they wanted the keys.

@@DefraggedHistory . Wow I did not know that part of history. I do like the story you are talking about with Dillinger. A lot I know about him but I have learned a lot from your video. I hope you talk about the part where it may have not been Dillinger shot that night. I have always been 50/50 if he did die or live on that night.

Interesting/informative/entertaining. Excellent still-motion photography pictures/drawings/maps.Enabling vewers. to better understand what the orator is describing. Extensive research naming bank tellers/law enforcement officers/lesser known criminal associates. Unfortunately Uncle Johnny had 3 strikes against him-!!!😳 Shoot to kill on sight order/carried out (7-24-34) Biograph movie house. $10 grand reward/collected by madam Anna Sage. News media interview @ Crown Point Jail. That were turned into news reel segments/played @ movie houses. 😳.
