Why the pause trick is necessary It doesn’t just let you catch particles, I think it also ignores switching character cooldowns slightly. Normally you can’t switch characters while they are Na, E , burst animation but pausing the game lets you bypass that. Doing this makes setup slightly faster and can be a critical point in doing more frontload and faster damage. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fGGrgWeJgLumsKcfeature=shared This video is a good example of this concept, by doing the pause trick, I was able to do the setup for the Dragonstrike melt teams slightly faster so Diluc can get an extra melt, doing a total of 7 melts with that team

Pretty cool how Citlali has frontloaded cryo app for a bit after her burst. Anyway, despite how much Xianyun elevates Diluc's dmg (I have her at C2), I still prefer his traditional playstyle honestly

Thanks for the detailed guide, I myself sometimes having a problem with the plunge timing. So to make sure I get those Melt hits, between each plunge I just wait until the Cryo applied again and then jump (or jump then glide for a while lol). But at cost of missing 1 or even 2 Melt plunges I guess.. *Also it's very rare to see you made a guide video, looking forward to the next (guide) episode

Yup the timing is weird, you want to go fast as possible for the first 3-4 and then wait 2 seconds for the rest. You can just not do any kind of cancelling animation after the plunge hits and see if it that helps with timing

Bennett has noblesse set, Xianyun VV, Citlali cinder city, Diluc CW set For the second team Kazuha uses VV instead and Xianyun can use two 2pc atk sets or song of day past set

Hmm cavernman already did a video on it but I can tell you my opinion on what weapons is the best For regular teams 1. ATBS 2. Redhorn/Beacon/Serpent Spine 3. WGS/mailflower/rainslasher(only for vape) 4. the rest For plunge teams 1. Redhorn/R5 Fruitful Hook/serpent spine 2. ATBS/rainslasher(only for plunge vape) 3. WGS/Beacon/mailflower 4. The rest

So should i be using 2pc/2pc for him with this team? Is it better than using MH with Furina? I have C2 Furina, that i usually use with Neuv, im havily considering getting C0 Citlali so i can play both teams at the same time, is Citlali really worth it?

If you don’t have 4pc CW then yes use 2 pc/ 2pc. She’s definitely worth it for any pyro characters not just including Diluc

how are you doing 689K plunge without food, the best i got with mine was 270k? are citlali and xianyun both c2?

Xianyun is c2 with her sig, but Citlali is only c0

Yup in the beginning the Cryo application is pretty fast, you can replace the first plunge with E

It kinda works, but I don’t know the hydro/cryo application timing, best case scenario you can vape and melt some plunge on bosses

@Rylei226 I saw some video of it, the timing application is fine and he can kill the boss so easy. But do you think Diluc can recharge the energy without Bennett in case if there is second phase of the enemy?

⁠@@azpect07I kinda like this team after trying it out myself 😊. As for Diluc’s potential energy problem, I don’t think it will be much of an issue. I done a lot of teams where Diluc was the only pyro unit in the past and he gets enough er back. You get energy particles from enemies when you deal past certain hp threshold, combined with spamming his three E at the end of the rotation. You can also give Furina fav sword

For regular playstyle matters a lot. It is hard to change fast and hit first E if u have like 150 ping. If u are slow then u apply pyro and the entire rotation is ruined xd
