There are few kinds of death touch I'm aware of: striking, ringing, whipping, springing, crushing. Theses are all skills that can be developed to the level of a deadly touch. Notably, none of them involve point striking. They all work on the torso. Technically speaking, they can also be mixed together to enhance the effect. I'm sure there are a couple more.

Wow are people really this clueless. Dim Mak is a real martial art I would know I spent years studying it. I believe it was originally created by an expert in acupuncture. I can also tell you that you have to have a minimum Black Belt level to even get access to the real book on it. Pressure points when hit with the right amount of force, I can for example easily paralyze various limbs with just the tips of my fingers. This is just really realy bad research, I cant believe how little people understand regarding real Chinese martial arts. The reason you dont see people who actually practice Dim Mak, is because for one thing it takes years just to train the fingers properly for the proper finger strength. It also takes very dillegent practice and study of the 30 or so most important pressure points. My buddy who practiced Kenpo Karate basically borrowed Advanced Dim Mak from his sensei, and I only had possession of it for one day luckily I knew someone whoo had access to a copy machine at work. I think that just because some martial arts movies and other Hollywood portrayals of Dim Mak are just ridiculous. Can I easily cause someone to have kidney failure or a brain aneurysm with a single strike, absolutely have I ever used these skills, of course not besides perhaps just a few of the limb paralyzing strike points, and i can assure you they work extremely well.
