Yes.. That is a good idea. If youngsters could start that, it would be great. We studied using old books from friends n relatives in school which was for free.. But in college days, I bought used books in cheap prices and graduated 3 decades ago...only that we should teach our children to be able to use old books citing our examples.

Nagaland needs guts. It's time we walk the talk, The RTE Act isn't conducive for Nagaland, so is communitization of Education. Why? 1. Nagaland is very small, with many villages but lesser population. How can we demand schools in every village? Who will fund it? 2. Even in the most remotest of villages I've seen non-local children outweighing local children, the school enrolment being quite less. 3. Whether Primary Teacher or Graduate Teacher or any staff of a school, they are also Government employees and officials. Naga's for once kindly respect them, instead of gawking at their salary alone. Now, the next thing. Nagaland observes high enrolments in urban and sub-urban regions. Its not the locals actually that are enrolling. Majority of these schools hosts students from 1. Economically deprived 2. Students that are house helpers 3. Students that are labourers 4. Students that are repeaters 5. Students that are habitual troublemakers. 6. Students with family issues. 7. Students unable to comprehend Medium of language. 8. Students promoted due to policy made by Dte state&Centre. Yes, there are students who excel too, from Govt School. But that's individual achievement. Teachers are guides not Magicians.

The real crime here is how a class 3 textbook costs more than 400 Rs. Primary students textbook costing more than Novels and some PhD level books 📚 lol we are doomed . Doomed from the start! Just think how poor families will be able to afford education if one textbook costs this much. Nagaland is/was doomed from the day we got statehood! Kudos to the govt and the businessman for the ever increasing prices. Many third world countries provide free education so that they can educate their people and compete with the fast changing world but out here it's the opposite! Everything is opposite. Here in Nagaland red is blue and blue is red . And without basic needs we are aiming for the stars lol 😅 no proper roads no running water in many households not even public restrooms and toilets are free for use not forgetting the garbages thrown out in the open roads and public places. This tampering issue should be enquired directly with the books agencies because as far as my knowledge books agencies are the one who's selling the books with screen printing to the schools. I think media should enquire about this directly with the schools too because the education departments doesn't issue books so they will probably would not have any idea about it. This misconception should be cleared out because it has been viral from last year. I know many parents are confused about it so requesting the media to dig further about this issue.
