The experiment is not perfect. After filling the car they should also bring a measuring flask/container to measure the readings accuracy. They could have tempered the reading. Also, another point for safety reasons, car makers don't fill to the brink when they do full tank/capacity as there needs to be some air. If they did fill the car and compare the reading with a measuring unit it would have been a perfect experiment/testing.

Its not about clarifying the total intake capacity of the tank. She said at the time of filling, the car tank was almost half. So, be it 50Lt or 65Lt (total capacity) if the total capacity of the car is 50Lt then the half of 50lt will be 25lt i.e Rs 2625/- n half of 65lt will be 32.5Lt i.e Rs 3500/- simple maths. In that case she paid extra.

Here's the proper math solution: As we have witnessed from this video that total fuel tank capacity of Nissan kicks is 65.64L and not 50L and as per her fuel intake it was 41.97L and used Power fuel which costed her ₹ 4400 in total so, 65.64-41.97=23.67 is her half fuel that was already there in her vehicle. Also if you add 41.97+23.67=65.64L Now the rate of power fuel Currently is 104.86 so, 41.97x104.86=4400.97≈4400 And let us also consider the price for power fuel for The full tank (power):65.64Lx₹104.86=₹6883.01 Half tank(power):23.67Lx₹104.86 ₹2482.03 now substracting both we get ₹6883.01-2482.03=₹4400.98≈₹4400 hence, It is Proved that the petrol she took is not extra charged!

Filling an empty tank of car is not the correct method to check whether the petrol pump is actually giving the correct amount of petrol as indicated in their meter. A measuring can of say 5 litres should be filled with petrol till the meter in the petrol pump reads 5 litres. If the capacity of the car is 65 litres and the woman refills 42 litres, 65-42=23 litres in the car while she was refilling. So it is obvious that the meter in the car could show half the tank full. Because no car meter reading is showing the correct. Simple that 23 litres in the car could show half tank full in the meter reading.

Whatever the manager and the owner said to defend themselves i don't trust them at all. I just want to ask the global window if the seal of the meter can be tempered then I am sure that it can be sealed again perfectly. So the point is if the incident happened on 16th and if they're showing the detailed meter and the seal after 2 days then I am sure that they can call the expert and reseal the meter again. I hope it makes sense.. Thank you 🙏

Global window did a great job as a media outlet. Unbiased and rational. Unlike, Hornbill TV which gave out news just to be on the hot topic without attending both the parties and without having any legit proof. Little knowledge is dangerous. I know uncle very well. He is a very kind person. He paid for my sister's appendix operation and medicine without taking anything in return. He always talks to everyone with a smiling face. It's a shame for media to defame innocent people without checking properly just for views.
