Love your content, and have been watching your videos trying to make a decision on pick ups. I bought beautiful esp h3100b and the pick ups are medium output passives by seymore duncan Pegasus/sentient. Beautiful cleans distortion not terrible but, after playing on actives they seem a bit weak. I don’t want to rewire the guitar for actives. So if you had to pick a passive pick up. what would your favorite passive pickups be. Or can you recommend a passive pick up? I’m into Nu metal/ modern metal. Like limp biscuit/ disturbed/ killswitch engage era… sucks getting old 😅 I been looking into the American brands like Seymour/Dimarzio/schecter pickups. Any suggestions?

Dude thank you man means a lot ! And man that’s like asking me what’s my favorite food ? it’s hard to pick 😂 but I understand that feeling of when you go from active to passive they sent as heavy, but I would honestly have to say the black winters they are are bit stronger and heavier sounding then the Pegasus but I personally would pick black winters or invaders those are my two favorite pickups!

Thanks for getting back to me. I was feeling the same way. However I got thrown off by the new Seymour Duncan rails series. Good choice thanks for the advice.

Dude it’s just a cheap ol Kramer Barretta special I customized my self a few years back with my wife’s face on it 😂 I love these Kramer specials because they are just amazing playing guitars man

Dude honestly I got say my favorite pickup of all time is the dimebucker because the range on that shit is beyond, I wind pickups so I know a Characteristic of a pickup but Be dimbucker just has it all, I can tell you my top 10 but I’ll say the black winters now and the Pegasus tomorrow 😂 I love em all!

Sounds good man. My charvel came loaded with those n thought the same thing, so I went with the Evolution pickups and bro. Fuckin nasty pickups.. give them a try, you won't be disappointed. I play thrash metal, and these pickups deliver on all fronts.
