👉 For non musicians: The language of music is Italian. Adagio is an Italian word and is used in music to denote tempo, meaning: 'calm', 'slow'. In this song, adagio roughly means: If it is to be, then it will be. The interpretation of the song by Dimash is brilliant. He touches my heart and soul ... every time. The shaking of his head and the trembling of the chin has nothing to do with the vibrato. It just goes to show that Dimash can be a little nervous and tense too. It was about a lot. In the previous episode 5 (Uptown Funk) he knocked everyone out of their seats, but still only took a back seat. Either he won now or he would go home. Of course, Dimash won Episode 6. 'Adagio in g minor' - today, known as one of the most popular compositions of classical music; composed of alleged fragments of Tomaso Albinoni's; in 1958, joined together by Remo Giazotto (* 4. Sept. 1910; † 26. Aug. 1998 - Italian musicologist, music critic, and composer). Camilo Sesto wrote 1985 the original lyrics in Spanish to this piece. Lara Fabian wrote the lyrics in Italian and English. Composers Rick Allison, Dave Pickell and Lara Fabian arranged the piece into a pop song. Since then, this song has been part of Lara Fabian's repertoire. * Lara Fabian, *1970, is a fantastic Belgian-Canadian pop singer and songwriter. She has sold over 20 million records worldwide and is one of the best-selling Belgian artists of all time. In 2017, she returned permanently to Montreal, Quebec, to be with her family. At the age of eight she studied for 10 years at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. She is classical trained, speaks 6 languages and sings in 13 languages. Her albums have been awarded gold and platinum in the whole world. Lara is a great role model for Dimash. Even as a child Dimash wanted to be on stage with Igor Krutoy and Lara Fabian one day ... and for Dimash the dream came true of the 65th birthday of Igor Krutoy in 2019. This brought me back to 2018 when I first heard him in the I Am Singer competition. It was around 7:00 in the evening when I clicked a video suggested by KZbin. What happened next was OMG, I did not sleep the whole night until it was time to dress up for work the following morning. I repeatedly played all performances of Dimash available on KZbin. When I got back home that day, the first thing I did was to go back to Dimash. Every day I watched and watched, and watched him for more than a month. I went to the extent of gathering all information about him from both Kazakh and Chinese newspapers. It really took me more than one month to recover from the shock of seeing a talent in the person of Dimash. It was a very memorable and uncomparable experience.

Love Dimash! Nobody tops him! It's by Lara Fabian, who loved his performance of this song, & has written some for him now.....Unlike some others who have banned Dimash from covering theirs, after hearing his renditions.

The song was written by Lara Fabian, who happens to be one of Dimash's idols. He finally got to sing with her (as part of a trio with an opera singer called Aida Garafulina), in an Igor Krutoy birthday concert. Adagio was the 6th performance of The Singer competition in China in 2017. A really beautiful song❤️. A song that Lara Fabian (a Belgian-Canadian singer) has already sung and also written the lyrics for. Dimash has always been a great admirer of Lara. But Dimash takes this song to another level. Every time, I see this performance I forget to breathe. The emotions that Dimash sends out with this performance literally hit me physically every time🤯. And you can see that I’m not the only one. It speaks for itself that this performance leads to such emotions as that of this woman from the jury and even makes jury members cry. This is so emotional because he literally sang for survival as he was almost voted out on the last episode on Uptown Funk. That's why he had to give everything at Adagio. I love his outfit with his blue suit and white shoes. If you watch several videos of him, you will see that he often falls on his knees during many of his performances. So a Dear gave him knee pads as a gift. I don’t think he wore them on stage though. Although he has certainly gotten one or two bruises😂. What I love about the Chinese competitors is that they don’t behave like competitors. Everyone wishes everyone luck. Everyone watches the other’s performance. Clap, sing along. In my opinion, no one begrudges the success of another. They might not have taken Dimash seriously at first, but that quickly changed after SOS. Through ist honest, cheerful and open nature, he found friends very quickly. Contacts that still exist today. Please react to another song from The Singer competition. It’s called Daybreak. It’s a very important song for us Dears. I highly recommend you to watch the version with the story behind on the Gloria Wu channel first and then the one from his Bastau concert. Please it's really, really important, that you know the backstory of this song, so please, please react first to The Singer version🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏. It was the 8th performance of this competition. I don’t think there are copyright issues, because the videos on this channel are already edited and there are English subtitles. I think you will appreciate the Bastau version even more if you’ve seen The Singer version before. This song tells a very sad but true story. You really have to watch this with subtitles. It’s really important to know what the song is about. You really have to know why he sings the way he sings. In the Singer version he was so sick and had a severe sore throat and fever. He lost his voice the night before his performance of Daybreak. I heard him say in an interview that it was very painful throughout the song, that his throat feels like shredded glass but he didn’t want to disappoint the people who stand behind him and so he pulled himself together and went on stage. He got 5 injections from this doctor in the hospital. And the doctor told him not to sing high notes. You can see how concerned the other competitors were and they suffered with him. They knew he was not doing well and one of them even gave him a very expensive Chinese medicine from his own inventory. The problem was his busy schedule between the performances and he didn’t have enough time to recover. After the performance he lost his voice again. It’s unbelievable how he always manages to convey emotions to such a degree. Though I think in this one particular version the emotions he shows are mostly concern about his voice keeping up with the song and the pain he must have been in doing it. The Bastau version (no sore throat) of Daybreak is phenomenal and mind-blowing. So emotional and heartbreaking. Maybe you can do both together. Many reactors do and so you can see the difference between this two performances. In both versions I always cry my eyes out. I don’t know why I have to cry more. Because of the story or the fact, that he was in such pain and performed anyway because he didn’t want to disappoint the audience. Both version were in the same year 2017. Greetings from Portugal.This was a nice reaction from you. 6 years ago Dimash didn't know how to speak english very well so he did those songs (in engllish, french, mandarin, and others) phonetically. Ths is a song is originally from Lara Fabian. She was very impressed by this cover that she wrote a song excusively for Dimash, called "Your love", that he sang in Kremlin. It's a very beautiful song and Dimash performed wonderfuly. He is and was (at this compettion when he was 22 years old - 2017) a great singer. I´m so annoyed by Vitas ("Opera 2" original singer) and Lionel Richie "(Hello") that prevent that Dimash never sing those songs again in his life. What was that? They're jealous? They can't realize that are singers better than them? At least Lara Fabian (Adagio) and Han Hong (Daybreak) were pleased that Dimash sang their songs. I can't underastand!!!! Я не сумасшедшая фанатка Димаша ( ну просто Люблю Его!!!) Ну, вот, когда сказать нечего по поводу услышанного... (Сколько пропиарились на Димаше?.... Миллионы.
