For those who like information about Dimas' songs: The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental technique. The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio (Russian-based Kazakhstani pop music group, "Alma-Ata Studio", city of Almaty). The dead singer (to whom Dimash was a fan) left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. Caitlin,. the tall bald man in the white shirt in the audience is composer Igor Krutoy who decided that night he wanted to work with Dimash so he joined him with plans to compose several new songs and rework others just for Dimash. He has already composed 4 new ones and they are all huge hits. The first one he composed was Olympico ALSO KNOWN AS Ogni Pietra. Great Reaction! Many reactors do not pick up on the 23 seconds that he does not take a breath. I loved that you were shaking your head in denial only halfway through before the really unbelievable parts happened. You are spot on regarding Dimash's ability to surprise and astonish. After watching many videos you can start to see that he plays with the audiences anticipation and right when you think he is going for it then he backs off and does something more subdued only later to surprise you. He is a vocal fisherman reeling you in and then letting you run out a little then reeling you back in, exhausting you until he has you caught. You should check out Daneliya Tulishova, another amazing Kazakh singer. Dimash quit the Worlds Best partly to give younger contestants such as her a chance. She has a cover of Dimash's song Screaming. She won the Kids Ukraine in 2017 after one year of vocal training. She is 14 now, will be 15 this month. Her voice is mature for her age sounding like she is 20+. You are living under a rock if you have not seen Dimash and Daneliya.

Another enjoyable reaction. I never tire of watching people react to Dimash. The band A-Studio is originally from Kazakhstan. The keyboard player, Baigali Serkebaev composed the song together with the poet Ilia Reznik, and the song was first performed in 1998. The singer of the group A-Studio passed away in 2015, and in this concert, the group was backing up guest vocalists. The triangle man is multi-percussionist Ilya Pokrovsky, a very talented man and a close friend of Dimash and member of the Dimash team (DQ Team). He plays various percussion instruments and accompanies Dimash in all his concerts. Someone explained that the special tribal riff is something practiced in Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and other parts of Asia. A similar technique is also used in some parts of the Middle East. It is referred to by some as a "glottal stop". We use it too when we say "uh oh". A Kazakh KZbinr commented that Dimash used a Kazakh singing technique, called 'komeymen aytu'. You can hear it among the Turan Group. Saha people Rus) uses this technique too; they called it 'kylyhah'. I read somewhere that the tribal vocalization was a tribute to the deceased singer, as it is similar to a technique usually used by women in Kazakh funeral ceremonies. This concert was organized by the man in the white shirt who stood up in the first row, Billionaire Igor Krutoy, a famous Ukrainian and Russian music composer, performer, producer, and musical promoter. It was this performance that prompted him to come out of retirement and compose masterpieces for Dimash to sing, such as I miss you, Ogni Pietra, Your Love, just to name a few. Since this concert, he has been collaborating with Dimash, writing music with his vocal range in mind, and often accompanying him on the piano. So you'll see more of him. It must be very satisfying for him to sit down and compose music without constraints (limitations by ordinary singers). High notes, low notes, whatever his genius mind can conceive, Dimash will achieve.
